Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed, MD

Dr. Ahmed is very rude from the get go and does not care about anything but money. Ahmed is your classic money hungry doctor who doesn't listen and gives the most basic treatment plans that do not work! I had an awful experience here, save your money/time and find a doctor that will give you the time of day! You will lose your license soon Ahmed!

I saw this “Doctor” because I knew that I had basal cell cancers, and just got Medicare. From the moment that we got into the treatment room It was clear that there was a problem. He was running in and out of the room for the entire 5 minutes that I was there. He refused to answer questions because “I have a lot of biopsies to do.”. It was clear to me and my partner who was in the room that he was there to make the maximum amount of money, and that was the only reason that he was there. My situation meant nothing. He refused to explain any treatment options except at one point where he stated unequivocally that “Medicare only pays for one excision per patient per day.” Which, of course, is a bald faced lie. After the appointment, there was no followup, and no-one in that office that could explain any treatment plan at all. After several weeks, I received a bill! It states that Medicare paid in full. Is it fraud?

THE FINEST MOST PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR AND OFFICE STAFF. SMART, SINCERE, KIND GENEROUS WITH TIME. A MODEL FOR A WHAT A DOCTOR SHOULD BE.

Dr. Ahmed was wonderful! I had already seen four other doctors (including a different dermatologist). My allergist recommended Dr. Ahmed. At first I was skeptical. I didn’t think I could get into see him for a very long time. Dr. Ahmed was able to see me on the day of the allergist’s recommendation. Dr. Ahmed diagnosed my problem immediately and prescribed a medication with a handout on how he wanted me to use the medication. Within two days I saw a distinct difference!

Dr Ahmed offered practical suggestions for problem, Gave excellent exam. Answered all my questions, appears very competent. Very friendly and professional. I was impressed with my first visit. He is my dermatologist of choice.

Very disappointed with his diagnosis. Said my son has atopic dermatitis/ eczema after barely looking at him. Would not listen to my husband about past treatments tried including a steroid ointment the pcp prescribed which would have gotten rid of the issue if it had been eczema. Definitely did not have the expertise expected from a doctor with 33 years experience. Will seek a second opinion from a pediatric dermatologist in CO springs. Would not recommend this Dr!

Yes I would recommend ! Very throrough and takes the time to listen to questions and answer them. New to Colorado area.
