He’s the reason I left Kaiser!
Not responsive to questions by email or phone at all! When I finally got ahold of him about my diagnosis. ( 6 weeks after the kp.org app had already giving me the results ) He dismissed it and said I don’t think that is the reason for your symptoms though and never called back or gave me a plan moving forward. He was very rude and seemed annoyed that I was even worried about my diagnosis.

Awesome nose job
Dr. Sofola performed a nose job on me when we were stationed together in Rota Spain. I LOVE it! This was almost 20 years ago. He did phenomenal. I had a bump, and he also turned the tip up. He really changed my life. I had wanted a nose job since I was little, and when the opportunity came up, I felt like I was in a dream He had excellent bedside manner (didn't have to because I was enlisted and he was an officer) and he did such a great job.

Dr. Sofola is kind, efficient, and provides excellent results. I have a condition that causes the cartilage in my nose to sag and create obstructions. It also causes issues with my eustacian tubes. I underwent sinoplasty, turbinate reduction and eustacian tube dilation. Right after surgery I immediately noticed a difference with the ears. Right after the splints came out my breathing was 200% better. I've had this surgery before and my experience and results were so much better with Dr. Sofola.

I am a new patient of Dr. Sofola's. I came to him with a lump on my neck which turned out to be cancerous. He and his team helped expedite the biopsy and other testing. He then referred me to a surgeon. He has called several times just to check on my condition and I am in the process of recovery. I can't thank Dr. Sofola more for his personal care and attention.

I saw Dr. Sofola today. I am writing this review both as a patient, and as a physician (M.D.) who has been practicing in this area for 13 years. He is abrupt. He did not bother to take a history and appeared not to believe what I did manage to tell him. He was rough with what little exam he did. He could not have been in the room for more than 2 minutes. He did not explain anything at all, and did not give me an opportunity to ask any questions. I managed to ask what his exam finding was before he informed me of his plan and left the room. I had more questions which I was not given an opportunity to ask. I have seen quite a few physicians in this area over the years, and I was truly appalled by his behavior. No physician should behave this way to anyone. You deserve better. Do not waste your time and money in seeing him.

Dr. Sofola's advice before and after my surgery was stellar. He and his associates explained the procedures (I had 3 done during one visit), the possible impacts, recovery and post-op follow up...answering all my questions. He is so friendly and polite. NOW THE RESULTS: after having lived with a nasal valve condition where almost all the airflow on one side of my nose was obstructed, I CAN BREATHE through my nose with my mouth shut! Even more exciting is that my snoring seemed to disappear AND my wife can sleep through the night. Thank you Dr. Sofola and Allergy & ENT Associates!

Amazing doctor and amazing staff! I got a rhinoplasty (nose job), a nasal valve reconstruction, and a septoplasty (deviated septum fix) and I couldn’t be happier. My nose was crooked, had a bump on the bridge, and a bulbous tip and he fixed that right up. I’m still healing from surgery but I can already tell my breathing is going to be better than it was before. He also answered all of my questions and made sure I understood everything that was happening. On a personal level he’s extremely nice and his office is very helpful. He’s very friendly and can make a situation that might be stressful for some people (talking surgery, for example) a lot calmer and easier to deal with. Any time I got stressed or anxious he was there to help calm me down. I highly recommend Dr. Sofola and the AENT team.

Dr. Sofola is excellent. Both my husband and I saw him for our allergies and sinus issues. Everyone in the office was professional, it was a short wait time once we arrived for our appointments and Dr. Sofola was very helpful, informative, and had a very positive upbeat personality. So glad we chose to go see him.

I went to visit Dr. Sofola in May 2020 to see if he could address a decades old broken nose from a childhood injury. He listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I had surgery just a month later and can finally breathe through my nose! It has been truly lifechanging for me. Dr. Sofola did an amazing job reconstructing my nose. I cannot be more thankful for the kindness and care that Dr. Sofola has shown. He truly loves what he does!

Went to Dr. Sofola regarding chronic congestion and cough. He had me get a ct scan of my sinus and then said that it was normal and he knew it was just allergies. He did not look in my throat or ears. I went to an allergy doctor and got tested for allergies. I do not have allergies. In fact, she looked in my nose and said it looks like I have an infection. While he was a nice person, I felt taken advantage of and not listened to.

I'm not impressed with this doctor. This was my initial visit and I left feeling irritated & still questioning my symptoms. After waiting almost 30 minutes to be seen, all he did was order a CT scan with no explanation as to why. Dr. Sofola did not examine my ears, nose, or throat. He never even took a step towards me. He was rude & rushed through my appointment. The 3 stars is for the friendly staff. I will not be returning to see him.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! This was hands down the most disrespectful doctor's visit I have ever experienced. The staff was unfriendly the moment I walked in. When Dr. Sofola came in the room, I explained the issues I was having and mentioned that I was nursing and knew there were some medications I would need to stay away from. He immediately said, "you have allergies". He never looked in my ears, nose or throat. He never asked me question. He spend a maximum of 2 minutes in the room with me. I called my OB to get a recommendation for someone who could help me, she diagnosed me over the phone. I had a sinus infection. I was then charged $194.13 from Dr. Sofola's office. I tried to talk to someone and ask questions about this ridiculous bill, it was impossible to get a helpful human being. The only helpful person is the girl at the Spring location who processes the medical releases.

He was very punctual on my initial visit. He was friendly and asked the appropriate questions and answered my questions. He did not immediately jump to any surgical procedure. Preferring to take a less invasive approach first. He put me at ease being able to speak Spanish fluently making it easier for me to understand what my situation is and the alternative approaches to my problems. All ratings below are based on my initial visit.
