Dr. Ife Rodney, MD

This is my best experience in my 4 years going to dermatologists. Dr. Rodney is kind, knowledgeable and professional. I plan ato get a chemical peel on my next appointment and can't wait!Update: I recently got a chemical peel and the dark pots on my face are almost gone. I've also started with my first PRP treatment for my thinning hairline. Dr. Rodney listens to me, and has been so patient with my questions and concerns.

I’m so excited that I found Eternal Dermatology I’ve been looking for a black dermatologist in Maryland and my coworker recommended Dr. Rodney. I’ve been seeing her for the past year, and I’ve gotten PRP, chemical peels and microneedling. Right now, I’m doing Laser hair removal and it’s a game changer. I feel like the doctor listens and truly cares about me, and my skin.

I had a series of chemical peels done and my skin is absolutely glowing. this is the best my skin has looked in years. The doctor explained the entire process to me and I felt at ease the entire time. I also did microneedling for my acne scars a couple weeks ago and am already seeing a big difference.

Appointment was rushed and she did not allow me to ask any questions. She was degrading to her staff and charged a ridiculous amount for her few minutes in the room with me. It is clear all she cares about is money.

A few months ago I visited the office with a stubborn rash/irritation. After a brief examination was given a topical steroid with instructions on how to use and return for a follow up. Upon return was seen by a PA and met with a visual examination. I explained that the area hadn't improved and was still extremely irritated and actually flared up/bled a few weeks ago. The PA proceeded to get the doctor and was met with a (maybe) 30 second visual exam. Was then told that there was nothing else they could do and said I should see a neurologist. I didn't feel like I was listened to or taken seriously (my feelings) and further felt rushed and pushed off. I'm by no means a medical professional but after one course of "treatment" to be told there was nothing else for them to do felt defeating. The doctor promptly left the room and left the PA standing there. I then asked could I get a referral and was told to check with my insurance for a doctor. Seeking a 2nd opinion.

CHECK REVIEWS AGAINST YOUR CURRENT INTERACTIONS TAKE THE NECESSARY COURSE OF ACTION I have been going to Dr. Ife's office for 2 years with no issues, until my most recent appointment a front desk staff said I only paid a $20 dollar deposit. I told her that's impossible, since I have been coming to Dr. Ife, she most certainly collects a deposit to schedule. I told her I would get seated but would have her figure it out as I waited to be checked in. By that time, I had finished the consent. FULL REVIEW ON google!

Dr. Rodney seems to have no time for her patients. At my first full-body check, I told her 4 specific moles that concerned me. She looked me over in 60 seconds and said everything was fine. I asked again about the 4 concerning moles, and she said she hadn't seen them all. I showed them to her one by one, and she said each was fine, and the 4th was fine because it "wasn't new." I told her it *was* new, she did a biopsy, and found it was malignant and required an excision. At my second full body check, I mentioned some new concerns and asked about facial skin care. She looked me over in 60 seconds, said everything was fine, and did not address the concerns or answer my questions.

I was so impressed with both the doctor and her staff. I was seen within minutes of my appointment time, and the doctors was very thorough with my skin cancer screening. I highly recommend this dermatologist.

Sense I've been going to Dr. Rodney I can only thank her for the effort and concisely treatments that I received . I thought my issue was hopeless but Dr. Rodney pulled out of the stops. Dr. Rodney is very knowledgeable in her specialty field.

Dr. Rodney is absolutley a breath of fresh air! She is gentle and very knowledgeable! he bedside manner is impeccable. Do NOT hesitate to see this dermatologist you will NOT be sorry!

I was blown away with the instant gratification! I wasn't expecting to get my issue treated on the spot. Today was my first appointment with Dr. Rodney she was amazing and most of all I could tell that she was personable and approachable ! The staff there were very very professional and nice. You don't find that everywhere! The office is top notch! There Approach in regards to Covid-19 I have to say they are taking all measures very serious. So with that being said if you're looking for a Dermatologist I have to suggest looking up Dr. Ife Rodney in Fulton Maryland without a doubt!!!! Anthony B

Dr Rodney. You should call me regarding my last appointment. The concerns I have had since I first walked in your door have grown tremendously. Nobody likes to feel they’re being taken advantage of. It was a bad feeling I had from my first visit but being desperate and also paying you 4 thousand dollars within the first 40 minutes of our meeting, has me stuck with you. I was not happy with feeling extremely rushed and then high pressure sales into the four treatments costing the 4 thousand dollars out of pocket. And actually taking out a loan for this without you exploring other options with me or even taking a detailed history of medications, chronic illness, hormones, or any other factors. You did not discuss treatment success and failure regarding the PRP. It was apparent that you and your assistant just wanted to sell me the top dollar treatment. I don’t ever want to feel regret in doing something that is supposed to be helping me amd yet I do.

I'v been to this office for my psoriasis (which is now better than ever) and most recently to have a mole removed. Both the staff and the doctor went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and cared for. I don't often write reviews, but they definitely deserve the kudos.

First of all, Dr Rodney’s skin is gorgeous, I knew I was at the right place. I had cosmetic injections and a chemical peel here and my face has never looked better. I’m sad I didn’t find her earlier! I will definitely be coming back for more!

Dr. Rodney was really professional and her staff was kind. This is the first skin care clinic that I've been to that is more focused on my comfort and providing good service, than make money. I’ve had chemical peels, and 1 filler treatment so far. I’ll update my review after my other treatments have been done. But so far highly recommend.
