Not impressed
My baby had just gotten out of the NICU and we were told to see a pediatrician the very next morning as a precaution. Dr arfeen made us feel terrible for not feeding her enough (she said baby should have 24 oz in 24 hours) but I had only gotten to give her maybe 3-4 bottles of formula myself since we both just got out of the hospital. She then made us feel bad that I wasn’t breastfeeding (I was trying to pump but my delivery was rough and I needed a transfusion and I hadn’t been with the baby so my milk wasn’t in yet). Two hours after the appt she sent us back to the hospital for overnight phototherapy for jaundice - but per the hospital her numbers were borderline so this wasn’t really necessary. It made me feel terrible as a FTM and I later found out that a CME company could give you the phototherapy light for at home use which would’ve been so much better. I switched drs immediately and the other drs in the practice apologized and disagreed with Dr arfeen
