Dr. Idella Simmons, MD

Dr. Simmons is my “Family Doctor.” I love that she offers same-day and next-day appointments. She and her staff are always promptly and appropriately responsive to my inquiries, concerns, and requests, be they made via phone, appointment, or walk-in. Dr. Simmons’ demeanor, especially her communications concerning conditions, medications, etc., is sufficiently detailed to keep me well informed, advised, and instructed. She offers and delivers the epitome of what I desire and would expect and require from a medical practitioner principally responsible for my overall health, wellness, and well-being.

I recommend Dr Simmons to those seeking a primary care doctor. She is very thorough and takes the time to answer questions and address your concerns. Her office staff is professional and her office is free standing and not within a large professional building or hospital, so easy to get to. Dr Simmons also takes next day and same day appointments which is convenient.

She has been my doctor since I was 9 years old. I am now 24 and have yet to have a bad experience with Dr. Simmons, whether for physical or mental health. Highly recommend.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Simmons for many years, we have found her to be attentive, responsive and prompt in returning calls. She seems to have a genuine interest in the well being of her patients. I highly recommend her, after having several private doctors in the past and felt that they heard me but didn't listen, I don't find that to be true with Dr. Simmons. She has always addressed my concerns, questions and issues without making me feel like I was less of a person for not knowing the answers.

I would recommend Dr. Simmons....she was very kind...patient and I was comfortable talking to her. she made me feel relaxed...Her staff was great...... very understanding and helpful. I have only been to her once but it was an eye opening experience and I would like to continue being her patient.

She is compassionate,she is smart,if she does not know the answer she is not to prideful to say do not know 'she refers me to a specialist.She does not rush yet she completes her task. I trust her explicitly.Hav never had to wait any longer than 10min she has been my physician since 2005.
