Dr. Ian Levy, DO

20 maybe even 25 year patient. Has never let me down. Always answers all my questions. Follows up with calls after hours. Guided me thru specialized treatment and surgery. Would recommend in a heartbeat to any. All around great Dr and Great man.

Dr. Levy overall is very nice seems somewhat thorough. The front desk is unhelpful and most of all rude! They are unaccommodating and overall unprofessional. They mentioned to me that I could go get cash down the block because they do not bill anybody which is totally fine, but the way they said it was completely uncalled for they didn’t want to call my insurance company for me to see if Dr. Levy was participating they want to do absolutely nothing. I am no longer going to be coming into this office because of their unprofessionalism so the doctor lost another patient.

My husband went to see him for newly diagnosed poorly controlled diabetes. He was one of the few endocrinologists who would see him quickly. His visits are always quick as he is a man of few words. He's not someone we want to be managing a lifelong disease such as complicated diabetes. He is not compassionate or empathetic at all. He gets frustrated when you ask questions. He doesn't educate or or like to explain things. His office staff is curt and often times not nice. You HAVE to pay a copay in CASH. The only nice thing about this practice is the office is small enough to always answer the calls on the first call. I do not recommend this doctor for anyone who wants a caring or respectful doctor for any complicated diseases. For well managed endocrinology issues he may be fine to go to.

The doctor has severely declined in his treatment. Bedside manner is cold and sarcastic. Previously he had been reliable and dependable, now he has a ‘holier than thou’ approach to all things. His staff have always been surly, rude and flat out mean to patients of all ages and medical situations. After many years with this practice I’m running away.

Dr. Levy listened to my concerns, helped me understand treatment options, and provided me with a comfortable experience.

Dr. Levy is a very competent and caring doctor. He is a good listener and takes his time during our appointments. Strongly recommend!!

Dr. Levy is incompetent. He falsified my insurance report claiming I had a pre-existing condition when I stated CLEARLY that I was never diagnosed by a medical doctor prior to this visit. He has caused me considerable harm with getting insurance coverage. He made promises to help and then did an abrupt 180. He did NOTHING to help my condition. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone who desires to get well.

I have seen Dr. Levy twice. I was pleased with the time spent, diagnosis and course of treatment. He gives you the impression of a "small town doctor", but with the professional skills I would expect from a larger multi-physician facility. I would highly recommend Dr. Levy.
