Dr. Ian Coelho, MD

This guy is an ego maniac! He has no clue what he is talking about and has ZERO and I mean ZERO bedside manner or any patients best interest in mind! He clearly has a massive ego which gets in the way of his judgement. This guy clueless and thinks he’s the bees knees! Which I can tell you he clearly is not and should be terminated from his job because he’s so bad at it. Rude, misunderstanding, no bedside manner, egotistical and clueless. That’s just the tip of the iceberg with this guy. Take a look in the mirror at yourself Dr. Coelho and realize you should probably be bagging groceries instead of handling any patients care or best interest. You are a disgrace to your profession. Shame on you.

Request another hospitalist. Dr. Coelho makes decisions based on the financial interest of the hospital and not what is best for the patient. He is dangerous. He overlooked symptoms--even with the patient's request--and put my family member in a worse situation. Other physicians said that they would have handled the situation differently. Ian Coelho should not be a doctor.

I was seen in the ER and then moved over to the Observation unit, where Dr. Coelho was the dr on duty that day. I will not go into the details on why I was there, but I was in extreme pain and was told I could manage my pain at home and discharged. I stated if you can't manage it here how am I to manage it at home. He would not come back to talk to me. The Hospital is wonderful but if I ever come across this Dr again I will leave and go to another hospital.
