HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE!!!
Ian Angel performed back surgery on my husband and he woke up in recovery paralyzed from the waist down. More of what happened is in the review I left on the Google search. This man turned our lives upside down.

Charles Price is your patient and we spoke with you yesterday. We have been at the hospital since 4pm yesterday. It is now 8am and he is still NOT in a room and he’s starving! Also, these nurses are grouchy and use profanity!

My son was admitted to Christus St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, Tx, through the ER. He is 20 years old, had been suffering with back pain which had become unbearable. Dr. Angel did surgery the next morning for a severe protruding disk. He was amazing with my son and my husband and I. He explained everything in advance. We are so thankful he was the neurosurgeon on call. We would highly recommend him.

I have never thanked Dr. Angel for saving my life. He performed emergency brain surgery , and I was close to dying when I arrived at the hospital. I was blessed that he was on call that night. He was fabulous. He even made sure that my scar would not show . He saved my life and my ability to live a full life. I thank Dr. Angel and his staff for taking excellent care of me.

Tried to send me to have a spinal cord stimulator installed in my back instead of fixing the disks in my neck and lower back. The doctor he sent me too walked in and said he didn't know why I Dr. Angel sent me for this device, he should have sent me straight to surgery instead. I did some research on this SCS device and there is all kinds of lawsuits etc on it. So I opted to not have it done. So I called and left a message with assistant for other options and still no response a week later.

Went to Dr Angel because my Dr at the time went out of my Medicare Network and after my Husband took a day off so he could drive to the Dr Angel anticipating I would get some relief of my pain I have been in for Months and then called back to a room where I waited over 3 hours Dr Angel wouldn't even talk or listen to me about my pain I have been in! He refused to see me because I had been seeing the other Dr and still charged me my copay!
