If I could give less than 1 star, I would
Dr. Yamada is the most arrogant provider I have dealt with. I have been taking my Dad there for years (trying to find another provider taking new patients is no easy task) and he keeps misdiagnosing simple conditions. If I ask too many questions, he turns is back on me and walks out of the office. In fact now, he does not let me come into the appointment room and tells his staff to tell me all these ridiculous excuses, while others walk in behind me with their elderly parents. I am sure he is violating many protocols. He should not be practicing. He is an embarrassment to Chartercare. From the list of reviews, appears I am not alone in my evaluation and I would think Chartercare values this feedback and would act upon it.

My wife and I have been a patients of Dr. Yamada for about 6 years now. Each time he is personable, and forthright. We are able to contact him with questions, which he answers in an appropriate time. I can not recommend him highly enough.

Too arrogant and extremely difficult to deal with. He leaves in his own world and does not listen the reason for your visit. Not recommended.

He's in and out. Will ask what you came in for and then interrupt you and leave. I rather stay home than feel uncomfortable. I thought the point of me going to a doctors is so they can listen to everything I am feeling/going thru. I guess not with Hugo. He also said "if you cancelling my appts there are others who need my care". Sometimes appts need to be cancelled for other emergencies or family matters.
