Excellent Doctor!
Dr. Perez is fabulous! Another doctor performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes but didn’t believe me when I said I couldn’t see well. I saw Dr. Perez and he immediately saw the problem. He’s performed additional surgeries-removing the lenses the former doctor implanted and I’m on my way to seeing well again. He is extremely kind and patient. He takes time to explain what needs to be done and why (very important!). He is loved by the staff at the surgery center (which is not affiliated with his practice., so the staff doesn’t have any reason to make him appear better than he is). I am moving out of state and would love to take him with me!

NOT IMPRESSED
Nothing I was told worked for my problem. I called and called, only to not have my calls answered. It wasn't until I threatened to leave a message directly for Dr. Perez, did they actually get on the ball. My eyes were so bad, I ended up making an appointment with my dermatologist, who gave me a prescription for an oral steroid. Next, I get a phone call telling me to come in and pick up samples at the front desk. I picked them up on a Thursday, only to find they were expired! No returned phone call until the following Monday. The main problem with this practice is the staff. I wouldn't take my pet there.

I went to Dr Perez at Sakowwitz Eye Center in Orange City because I had problems in my left eye for 3 years that other Drs threw in the towel. Dr Perez did a cornea transplant and cataract surgery on the left eye. I still had problems in that eyeafterwards so he sent me to Dr George. Dr George put a flap in my eye to release pressure. The pressure in my eye would go as high as 50. Then I'd have pain behind the eye that shot across the left side of my head. My complaints are Not of the Drs they are of Sakowitz's staff. I'd call there in pain, leave messages and no return calls. Then finally they'd just set an appt for like a month later. Anyways I moved and am seeing a new Dr. Which advised me my left eye has so much scar tissue within it from too many surgeries and procedures that it's beyond repair. Also advised there is considerable optic nerve damage from high pressure within the eye. My sight from that eye is worse now than before I went to Sakowitz Eye Center and can't be repaired

I went to Dr. Perez as he was highly recommended to me. While waiting him to come in to my exam room I could hear the nurses outside speaking unprofessionally. Definitely not about things my young daughter needed to hear. When I later brought this up to what I was told was the supervisor, Jen, she was completely rude to me and laughed in my face. I’m sure this is a great Dr but I won’t be returning due to rude and disrespectful staff.

I HAVE BEEN DR. PEREZ PATIENT FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW. I HAD A CLOUDY LOOKING PUPIL IN MY LEFT EYE THAT MY REGULAR EYE DOCTOR FOUND, BUT DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS. I HAD VISION ISSUES IN THAT EYE FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS THINKING I NEEDED GLASSES. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. I ENDED UP SEEING DR. PEREZ. HE HAS SAVED MY EYESIGHT WITH HIS CORRECT DIAGNOSIS AND CORRECT TREATMENT. THANKS BE TO GOD AND THIS DOCTOR. HE IS A BLESSING AND GO GATORS! WARNING BE AWARE OF "ROSACEA" IT CAN BLIND YOU. RESEARCH IT. PLEASE
