Dr. Zhang is a first-rate, outstanding GI doctor. I have been seeing him for many, many years and thanks to his diligent and excellent care, he successfully brought my UC into long-term remission. As a result, I have been symptom free and in good health now for more than a decade. I still see him for follow up visits annually and surveillance colonoscopies. I travel a significant distance to do so after a medical facility near me closed -- that goes to show how highly I value his medical expertise and professional, friendly bedside manner. He is very friendly and easy to talk to and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. He keeps track of the latest research in the GI field which he shares with me as well as the latest and best treatment options. He really cares about his patients. I would definitely recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zhang for the past 6 yrs. I am very lucky I have him as my head GI doctor. I had my whole large intensities taking out back in 2009 and they rebuilt a new colon from my small intensities called a J-pouch. There are not to many doctors around that have experience with my situation. Dr. Zhang is an expert when it comes to the GI area. I am so lucky to have him. I have been to a lot of GI doctors over the past 12 years and his is one of the best. He always follow-up with me. He is a very hard working doctor who cares about his patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zhang's since around 2014. He has always provided exemplary care to me. There was a time when I thought my life would have been a constant, painful struggle. However, Dr. Zhang's treatments and guidance have enabled me to return to a normal, symptom-free life. I hope I am lucky enough to have him as a trusted specialist I can talk to for the rest of my life. I would recommend anyone needing a specialist in regards to digestive medicine to schedule an appointment with him. I tell everyone that asks how good he is, even to other physicians! Good bedside manner, and willing to answer and explain any questions you may have in an understandable manner.

I have seen Dr. Zhang 2 years ago when I was in the hospital and after for follow up.And again recently twice.He was so kind and knowledgeable about my problem. He solved both of my needs. He was very caring. He answered all my questions and never seemed hurried .His staff also were caring and efficient. I recommend him for any gastric and more problems. As a retired registered nurse I appreciate his professionalism and yet very humanism.
