GREAT EXPERIENCE
From the minimal wait time I experienced, to Kabir, (tech performing assessments), to Dr Pomeranz himself, I was very pleased with the visit. At no time did I feel rushed . Would highly recommend the practice.

Did not even introduce himself
Dr. Pomeranz was unengaged. I led the questions basically. Gave me a prescription for $60 based largely on the thorough eye exam his partner gave me some weeks ago in the Bethpage office. Was supposed to help determine if I still need a prism in the prescription and I hope it is accurate and not based on the previous exam. Further, the staff left me in a waiting room for over a half an hour because apparently they couldn't find me! The front staff was lovely otherwise.

Cannot thank Dr Pomerantz and staff enough. Thank you for saving my wife's life!!! Saw what 2 other prior Dr's didn't and sent my wife right to the Emergency Room. She had a stroke and needed immediate hyper-intensive care. So glad we ignored negative reviews posted (people are quick to judge). Dr. was spot on with diagnosis and very patient explaining what he suspected. He even gave us his Cell number just in case ER had any questions or if we needed him further. Thank you Dr. Pomeranz and staff. We cannot thank you enough for your knowledge and professionalism. I highly recommend this office and really happy we finally found an eye specialist this good.

I visited Dr. Pomeranz, a neuro opthamologist because of constant dizziness caused by a fall. I had previously had my eyes tested several times elsewhere. After waiting an hour, the doctor’s staff unnecessarily retested me which took two more hours. I saw the doctor for 5-10 minutes and all he did was to test my prism glasses (which were fine) . He was disinterested in my dizziness symptoms, did not address the problem I went to see him for, provided no advice or diagnosis and told me maybe to see a concussion specialist. He seemed primarily interested in getting me out the door as quickly as possible. A very bad experience. Another neuro opthomologist thankfully diagnosed the problem.

I can not believe the bad reviews Dr Pomeranz has received. My visit with him was perfect. He thoroughly explained my test results and acted in a highly professional manner. His staff also deserves 5 stars for their professionalism. I betting that the bad reviews came from people that want to blame the doctor for what he diagnosed them with.

NO BEDSIDE MANNER: told me I had a brain tumor.(I heard BRAIN CANCER) just like that! did NOT preface with: there are treatments , either surgery or medication that have a VERY high success, for what you have, a BENIGN brain tumor. I was hysterical. he then said let me exam you to confirm. ( he saw from field test that it was a tumor, which is very often (always?-benign) . I do not know why he did not exam first, then state condition. He told me to dry my eyes so he could exam my eyes!

Worst experience ever. Have been trying to resolve a bill for six months that Is not my responsibility. No one ever picks up the phone in billing, or returns your phone calls within a reasonable time. Tried to get directly through to his office and waited 25 minutes and no one ever connected me. The administrative staff is dysfunctional. This type of treatment is outrages. Additionally, the visit with this doctor was not worth going through all of this nonsense.

This Doctor was extremely dismissive. He wasn't thorough at all. I went to him with issues my doctor felt needed to be addressed and he was quick to say I don't have the condition in question. Come to find out a more competent doctor diagnosed me with the condition and i am currently being treated. I would NOT recommend going to him if you care about your health. Total waste of time.

The staff at Dr Pomeranz's office is wonderful! I wish I could say the same about the doctor himself. I felt like I was wasting his time by being there. He didn't answer any of my questions and did not take me seriously. He spent a total of 5 minutes with me, and told me everything was fine even though I am not able to see properly out of my right eye. I will never go back to him again.

I went to Dr. Pomeranz last year and he was very quick to examine my eyes and diagnose me with Glaucoma but I felt very uneasy with his diagnose because I felt that he was to quick and did not care if I had questions. He send me to see another Doctor which she was confused about my results. She kept saying that my records do not look like Glaucoma and so she send me for an MRI. The MRI came out normal. I would not recommend anyone to go see Dr. Pomeranz!!! Go to Stahl Vision in Garden City!
