He was very personable and straight forward with explaining everything to me and worked with me in deciding what course of medication would be best considering other medications and medical conditions I have.

Be careful! He treated me for plantar fascitis, but I actually had a Jones fracture, which he missed on the Xray. He also gave me 3 steroid injections, which is contraindicated in a fracture. When I went to another doctor, he picked up on the fracture immediately when looking at the Xray. He was personable, and office clean, but not a good diagnostician.

Dr. Nuss is the best podiatrist is Middle Tennessee. I drive over an hour to his office, when others are much closer. His staff is first class and have been with him forever. Every appointment and procedure is smooth. Highly recommended!

Dr Nuss is very professional, takes time to explain problems, as well as possible treatment (s), and cares about his patients. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. His nurse and assistant are very nice as well.

He is incompetent. Pay no attention to his positive reviews, they either know him or get compensated. I went there for a severe bunion that is starting to cross over my other toes. So bad I can only wear clogs and my foot slides backward in them and Push's down the heel edge. I'm 53 years old and he tells me if it's not that painful leave it alone. Scared me away from having a bunionectomy by saying you will need 24 hour care and it's a long healing process and it might not correct it. DIGBAT.

Dr. Nuss isn't trying to sell overpriced inserts or orthotic shoes. He seems to take the most conservative, non-surgical approach that he can and looks at surgery as something to be considered when the non-surgical methods fail. I've seen him twice and I he has a great demeanor, short wait times in the office and I've been able to get in quickly. Great guy.

Dr. Nuss was my first visit to a podiatrist. He and his staff answered all my questions, and he explained my problem and the treatment with exactly the right amount of information. My foot responded to treatment exactly as he said it would, and I avoided surgery. He and his staff were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable - an excellent office.
