Professional and Caring
Our 17 yo daughter had four wisdom teeth removed. The care and professionalism given by Dr. Nelson was outstanding. The staff was very helpful in providing the after care, and our daughter came out of it with out any problems. I would recommend Dr Nelson for Oral Surgery procedures.

Poor staff and no regard for time
I had an arrival time of 12:45 pm for my appointment. I am not a new patient. Problem #1 The woman at the front desk stated since they had a "new system" I needed to fill out new patient paperwork. I mentioned I would have completed in advance if advanced. I went back into the examination room at approximately 1:00 p.m. At almost 1:50 pm, I walked outside the room to ask what was happening, as Dr. Nelson was in another room attending to another patient and I needed to return to work. Problem #2 The older woman's response to me was rude and dismissive. She stated there were "emergency appointments" and this was why I was made to wait so long. Let me say this, if this were true why didn't anyone say anything to me as I waited patiently to be seen. Too many times, this type of condescending behavior is accepted and not addressed. Unfortunately, even though I really like Dr. Nelson, I will not return due to his rude and unprofessional staff.

questionable
I was not permitted to have my husband sit in on my consultation with Dr. Nelson....this was a consultation for a wisdom tooth removal. I am very apprehensive about the surgery because I'm middle-aged.....this is defnitely NOT a routine extraction. Anyway, Dr. Nelson wouldn't allow my husband to sit in on the consultation to help me take notes, ask questions, and learn about this surgery. We left, they did not charge us for the appointment (that's the only good thing I can say about this office!).

Staff very friendly. Dr.Nelson was great. My daughter is ten and was very nervous about her procedure. The staff and Dr. Nelson made her and I feel very comfortable. We are very happy with the results, and we would highly recommend this office and staff.
