In a time when many doctors seem to rush through as many patients as possible, it’s nice to find a doctor that spends the right amount of time with the patient. He also explains things to the patient in a language that the patient can understand. I recommend him highly.

Treats his patients as humans beings, is empathetic, listens to concerns, explains options of treatment. I highly recommend him as a option to anyone who has urological concerns. I would not do this unless I had confidence in his abilities as both a doctor and person.

Dr Adler is a thoughtful, in every sense of the word, kind, professional and extremely competent doctor who helps us manage my prostate issues. We drive over an hour and 50 miles to his office. And believe me, we are not a doctor's "dream" patients! We feel our health is largely our responsibility, do our homework and come with a list of questions. Dr Adler sits with us, listens to our concerns and discusses all the options. He is wonderful!! And I feel safe with my life in his hands.

Dr. Adler reflects everything you could want in a doctor. I find him to be thoughtful, caring, and completely thorough when dealing with his patient(s). Dr. Adler's entire staff emulates the very same attitude and that, in my opinion, is due to the excellent leadership provided by Dr. Adler. Stony Brook University is lucky, as am I, to be served by Dr. Adler and his staff!

I am alive with today because of Dr. Adler's skill and expertise. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the early age of 46. Dr. Adler fully explained, in detail, my options. His caring and compassion as well as his raw talent resulted in my successful surgery and nearly 17 years later I have had little or no side effects and, I am very happy to say, CANCER FREE! Thank you Dr. Adler!
