Absolutely terrible
Always behind on appointments, never figured out my issue, and then decided I was seeking pain meds (I never asked for any meds). You can see from her responses to people how nasty that office is. Could care less about people. And at the time, there were barbie dolls everywhere which was weird and unprofessional. Hopefully she has grown up since then.

Very unprofessional
Was waiting for her more then an hour, because she was on the phone for personal reason. I couldn't wait any more and left her office, because I was late for another doctor appointment. And she is refuse to reschedule appointment, because I walked out and did not wait for her. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

I met Dr. Starkman for the very first time this past Friday, August 12th. I had no idea what to expect and in summation: this doctor is pure gold. Run - don't walk - if you prefer to be a patient of Dr. Starkman; you will have an authentic physician who treats her patients with dignity, shares her knowledge and the science behind it, and a kind, patient and sincere staff who exhibit their loyalty to their "boss" and to us!

Very Unprofessional
Do Not go to Dr. Starkman for treatment. Had the worst experience with her from day 1. She is very unprofessional and does not listen. Talks right over you. Had a follow up appointment at 9 am. Waited till 10 am just to be told my PCP dd not send over a referral. This was my 3rd visit. I called my PCP and come to find out her staff sent a referral request to my PCP but they sent it to the wrong fax number. The doctor came to the front desk and insisted that it was my responsibility to get a referral, which BTW I never was told that. I tried to explain to her they had the wrong fax number and could not get a word in edgewise. She was talking right over me. I told her I would like to reschedule and she stated that I would be considered a NO SHOW if I rescheduled. Continued to talk over me and at that point I left her office. The receptionist was not friendly at all and had an attitude.

Best Phyician Experience
I have been to many doctors in the last several years and no one has been able to figure out what is causing my pain. Although I had to spend alot of time filling out forms and answering questions with the help of the staff it was worth it. The receptionist was wonderful, and the office manager Milly is very kind. Dr Starkman spent an hour with me on my first visit. She reviewed all my prior labs and x rays and was very thorough. By my third visit I was like a new person. I am so grateful. I highly recommend this doctor and her office.

Absolutely not !! I had a horrible experience in her office ! I waited "2 hrs" for my appoint. filling out papers with the same questions over and over - When she finally saw me she asked the SAME Questions Again ! I asked her to look at my hand (why I was there)! And she would Not ! She was Very Unprofessional and Insensitive ! I walked out at that point. I wasted 2 1/2 Hours of my time and $35 Co-Pay !! Extremely Unorganized, Unprofessional and Self-Serving !!

I saw her twice. She rambled a lot about her romantic troubles and dismissed my diagnoses from multiple specialists over 10+ years, all without giving me an examination or any lab work. On my second and last visit, she rambled about her own physical ailments, how she tells herself daily she is not in pain, suggested I try meditation and told me she thinks I am depressed. Positive affirmations are great. So is meditation. I have a shrink. I was looking for a rheumatologist. I found someone else.

Dr. Starkman is fantastic and has restored my faith that there are wonderful, knowledgeable and caring physicians in Florida. I travel 60 miles round trip to see her. One of the most important traits a good no great doctor can have is the ability to listen to what the patient is saying. Dr. Starkman has this trait. I have no hesitation in recommending her to my friends and family. In my professional life as an R.N. I have come in contact with many physicians and she gets an A plus plus from me.

In response to prior review patient wrote they waited ahour and didn't get a treatment that they paid over$ 160 for without knowing in advance . The patient paid for the medication so they had to know what it was for but if not should have asked and received an explanation prior to paying for it . In terms of the wait, it is not the policy of the office to make people wait. Perhaps there was emergency or patient didn't have proper authorization for visit from primary MD office. Sorry for wait

Waited in the office for 1 hour while I was the only patient there. She had no answer as to why I was waiting. She could not answer any of my questions. Would not recommend her to my worst enemy. Staff did not know what to do & were not friendly. Gave me meds that had to be injected and never told me. I wasted $158.
