Dr. Hope Mitchell, MD

All around strange encounter with this doctor. She’s doesn’t converse with patients in a normal way. She didn’t ask about history or give me a chance to talk, she just plowed into the exam without telling me what she was doing, what she was looking for, what she found and treatment options. Other doctors behave like this too but once in a while you find a normal human in a doctor. This wasn’t it.

Will never go back! Absolutely the most patronizing appointment I have ever had . She walked before even introducing herself said she was going to “teach me” about my condition (it’s chronic I’ve had for 15 years). Then when I asked her opinion based on my medical history, she had NO IDEA my medical history. She didn’t come prepared. AND received phone calls the entire visit which she had to respond to.

I honestly couldn’t believe how rude and unprofessional she was and she would not address a skin concern I asked for help with.

Very rude and unprofessional doctor never seen anything like it. i asked her if the certain conditions i have may be responsible for my conditions and her reply was 'I did not go to school for that and that she went to school for skin disease and to treat anything she has to see it'. Excuse me, my PCP referred me to this unruly Dr. Mitchell thinking she is knowledgeable or at least be able to guide me to a specialist who might be able to help me instead of here lecturing me about what she studied. I will never go back there or recommend anyone to go to this doctor. She wrote a prescription that is not very helpful....she does not have a clue.

She has a script that she has to go through and that is all she cares about. She does not want to talk to you. She seemed irritated she had to do her job.

Dr. Mitchell was impatient and rude. I would never recommend her to anyone. I walked out.

I asked Dr. Mitchell to look at a spot that I was concerned could be cancer. She became very angry and said she couldn't look at something that small. She was rude and impatient. Her office staff was arrogant and unwelcoming. Obviously I do not recommend her at all.

Would never recommend anyone to see this Doctor. She had no interest whatsoever in the problems that I wanted to show her. The seconds it would have taken her to glance at my mole and a couple of other things she spent telling me that she could only look at 1 thing. She did not want to look at anything else. In fact, she said, it is not fair to me to look at more than 1 thing. What does that mean ? I don't understand. As far as the 2 things she did finally agree to look at, she had no idea.

My mother was just seen by Dr Mitchell. 1) the first thing they do at the office is make sure you know how you're going to be billed and the fines for not paying on time 2) my mother had several health concerns regarding her skin, including a mole, rash-like redness, and a scar that has not healed well. Dr Mitchell greeted my mom then said (paraphrase) sorry but I can only see you for one or two things my mother felt pressured, unwelcomed and won't be going back to Dr Mitchell.
