Horrible doctor.
This doctor canceled my appointment because I arrive 15 minutes late. The staff unbelievably rude. I will never go to NYU for anything and especially to this Dr!!!!!

Rude and staff is horrible.
Dr. Lofton is very rude. She does not spend much time with her patients. She leaves patient care up to her incompetent staff. Do not waste your time. The department is unprofessional.

Dr. Lofton is empathetic and kind. She really listens to your concerns and takes time to get to know you and your situation. She was referred to me and I will refer her to anyone with weight issues in a heartbeat. Her recommendations and treatments are client-specific (I know because I have spoken to the other people that have recommended her to me and we all have different treatment plans). Love her!

Met with me for less than 5 minutes on my first visit to give me the sales pitch. 2 weeks later I met with one of her registered dietitians for a group session. Was told that they would reach out to me the following day to set up the next appointment and that dietitians were available on the west side of NYC. A week later still no follow-up call and when I called in to schedule was told they never had dietitians available on the west side. The program works, but the staff is incompetent.

Dr. Lofton is amazing! She is smart, kind and caring. She even helped me address issues that were not related to weight loss, but were important. I bet she is the best weight loss doctor in New York.

I am in absolute shock I arrived to my appointment ten minutes late. There was heavy traffic on the fdr. I parked in the nyu lot. The dr refused to see me bec I was ten min late. The secretary was nasty. I explained to her that there was a lot of traffic. I even prefilled out all medical information on nyu my charts. I also explained that my husband is a doctor and that they should have professional courtesy. I in complete shock.
