Horrible bedside manner
I’ve seen Dr Leon over 10 times, for years now, and every time she walks in she says “Hi I’m Dr. Leon it’s nice to meet you”. She rarely remembers her patients or their history (my husband has her too and she doesn’t remember him either) and that’s a big clue she doesn’t listen or care to remember who you are as her patient. She has made rude comments about her staff, she asks me questions and then berates you. For example she asked “how often are you getting this symptom” and I started to tell her “it started off where I’d get the symptom…” and she cut me off suddenly and said, “you are NOT ANSWERING MY QUESTION, are you not listening to what I said? I said how often!” I answered I was getting to it and she realizes how she’s acting and then tries to be sweet and it comes off as insincere. Her issue is shes impatient, doesn’t listen, and lacks tact and genuineness. She’s is thorough and skilled doctor, good at identifying solutions, but she needs work on bedside manner.

I have been seeing Dr. Leon for over 10 years. My family also see's Dr. Leon. She is a great doctor who listens and cares about her patients. I like that she works with her patients to improve their health without always prescribing medications.

I had the most dismissive, condescending, and humiliating experience with any doctor—ever—today at what was supposed to be a routine checkup. I was scheduled at my usual clinic with Dr. Leon as a replacement for my 2 former healthcare practitioners that have moved on from there, and I won’t be going back. I was immediately put off by her lack of compassion, inability to listen to what I was saying, and disregard for the continuity of the care and management of my chronic conditions that my former providers worked so hard to establish. I was subjected to a urine drug test and DEA check before she would even discuss continuing the same medications I’ve been taking as prescribed for years, and treated dismissively for using prescription drugs legally prescribed to me by her (former) staff. I was treated with suspicion and disregard for my wellness and will be ending my long-term relationship with her clinic. Yep, she’s the director.

It took over a month to get an app for my child to see Dr. Leon. We arrived a mere 8 min after our scheduled app time (during rush hour) and were flatly told that we had to reschedule (the waiting room was empty). I requested to speak with the Dr. and the rude receptionist refused to call the doctor over. It appears that Dr. Leon has forgotten her Hippocratic Oath. The lack of compassion is sickening & sad. These people clearly don't live up to the true spirit of their vocation: serving patients
