I have had extreme difficulty in getting an appt. after I had to cancel on Nov. 1st due to illness. The scheduling dept. does not return calls and when I spoke to the person who answered the phone, she said they were "busy"! I have been waiting over 2 wks for a call back to reschedule my appt. There is something wrong here. I tried to complain, but she would not transfer me to the correct dept. Appts. are scheduled months in advance so it will probably be late spring before I can be seen. Someone needs to address the serious communication problems! I tried to find a corporate office to complain to, but was told there isn't one! Is anyone in charge there? The doctors don't have time to address these kinds of issues. I am a retired RN. If I am having problems then I know there must be others, too. They are required to have a patient advocate or someone who can address patient concerns! I am baffled and concerned!

I was referred to Dr. Baldwin when injections to my neck no longer worked at all for pain. I had crushing pain to my right hand fingers and under arm to elbow pain. After X-rays and myelograms, it was revealed I had a lot of issues going on. Dr. Baldwin assured me he could help. Now, two months post op, and I can't believe the pain I once had has diminished by more than 80% As nerves heal from being pinched for so long I should see more improvement. I had a prior cervical C5-6 fusion in Dec 2009. That helped for about 7 years. The problem with fusions is that discs above and below fusions fail leading to more surgery. That's where I was. C4-5 and C6-7 disks needed removal along with a host of other bone spurring. Those 2 discs were replaced with cervical prosthetic implants. My neck is like night turning to day. The difference is remarkable. Before deciding on spinal fusion surgery anywhere else, I recommend you see Dr. Baldwin.

Dr. Baldwin operated on my back in Early January, 2003. I have had almost no problem ... a short stint with what was probably scar tissue...Dr. Baldwin was immediately helpful getting me into pool therapy. 17 years later I am FINE! My posture is slightly affected but 17 years later I am 88 so my posture might have changed even without the fusion of the L4/5!

Dr. Baldwin was a lifesaver. Following a misdiagnosis by a neurologist he accurately diagnosed my condition in the hospital ER and arranged a specialist surgeon team for my surgery. My family and I are lucky to have Dr. Baldwin.

Dr. Baldwin knows how to ask the right questions to solicit information that provides him with suggestions for the best solution. He allows you, the patient to be a part of the decision making and that provides you with a comfort level when the decision for surgery is finally made. He showed me my x-rays and explained exactly what I was seeing in understandable terms. He also showed me the x-rays after the surgery so I could see what he had done. He is an amazing surgeon who has a caring attitude towards his patients and provides excellent follow up after the surgery. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Dr. Baldwin is caring, concerned and very very good at what he does. He’s a surgeon who is great at his work and has a staff that supports what he does. I am a very happy patient who would recommend him to anyone who needs neurosurgery. My surgery was extensive and in the two weeks since surgery I have had no symptoms that were present before my operation. I would consider this a success.

13 months ago I began having problems with pain going all the way down my legs, got so bad I could hardly function. Went to 3 different doctors, went thru physical therapy, then epidural shots, then acupuncture, then pain management. Nothing helped me. My personal doctor then said you need to see a Neuro surgeon. we researched and found Dr. Baldwin, went to see him, then this doctor thoroughly walked me through exactly what was going on in my spine, said he would recommend surgery. On Feb. 26th went through the surgery and I will be honest, it's no picnic, yes there is pain but also you know the pain is now a healing pain.I found Dr. Baldwin to be a very caring and compassionate doctor, , he just acts as tho you are his only patient. Was willing to spend time with me and I am so very thankful for the surgery. I would certainly recommend this doctor over and over.

Would like to share about my visit but my spot was cancelled as I walked thru the door due to someone quitting. On top of that, rescheduling was another month away minimum. I declined at that time. Called back a few times to reschedule and no one would return my call. So, needless to say, whether or not Dr Baldwin is the best in the business. He won’t be treating me or anyone else I know.

I had my back operated on September 2016 and had an excellent recovery but I also follow the rehab orders with daily back strengthening. For me surgery was a breeze since I already understood the probable outcome. Dr. Baldwin explained everything and annual follow up visits are confirmation of his surgical skills and excellent outcome. Much appreciated
