Dr. Hernando Lyons, MD

Dr. Lyon saw my son as a very very sick infant and he is an incredible doctor, very knowledgeable, returns calls, and cares. We were with Dr. Lyons and his team for years and to his credit my son is as healthy as he can be. He is now on a full scholarship at college and aside from a few minor issues is fine. Highly recommend.

The second he entered the room he cut me off while I was saying hi. Should've been a good indicator for the rest of the appointment. Every single time I tried to mention something important about my daughter's history, he cut me off. Didn't care what I had to say. Didn't care what her history was. Didn't even acknowledge her or try to talk to her. Didn't care when I wanted to mention a medication that might work better for her, as our family had a history of not responding well to the medication she was on. Decided to just go ahead and double the dosage of the medication my infant was receiving, even when I said it wasn't working, and just add some rice. Already knew everything he said from doing some google research of my own. Waste of time and space. He shouldn't be practicing, horrible beside manner and horrible, depressing attitude. Don't waste your time here. Front desk staff was super nice. I feel so bad that they're subjected to that man every day.

We have seen Dr.Lyons for about 6 months now and I had hoped maybe the first few visits were a fluke. All visits feel very rushed (even after you wait for 20+ minutes) and I always leave with more questions than answers. When I try to ask questions I feel very rushed and like an inconvenience. I don’t feel that my concerns about my son have been wholly addressed and we will be seeking another opinion.

Took my son to see Dr Lyons he is very good answered questions and took his time with us. He's also very quick to return calls when you have you have questions or concerns. I would highly recommend him.
