Dr Pasternak is very friendly , concise , professional and speaks in layman's terms. He is willing to listen and answer any questions. The administrative staff is also is friendly and always available to answer any questions regarding treatments or preparation necessary. The scheduling is on point. On the day of my procedure I was greeted by a nurse that was professional but makes each patient feel comfortable by engaging is friendly conversation. As far as the procedure room staff I cannot say enough. I was kinda disappointment I only spent 25 minutes with them.

Nasty office staff
Dr Pasternak is a thorough doctor. However, his receptionist is one of the nastiest person I’ve ever met working at a doctors office. Not only to me, I seen it several times with other patients. You also have to wait days to get a call back even when you have a medical emergency. Would not recommend.

Always a wait
I have known Dr Pasternak for about 18 years. This year, when I went to see him for chronic diarrhea, he seemed a bit different. A bit more detached. He didn't return some of my calls for at least a week or more. There is always a wait in his office, especially for procedures, expect to wait up to 3 hours. The staff is good, they have always been kind to me. But I left because he couldn't fit me in for a colonoscopy until at least a month. When I changed GI's I was put in the next day, as I was experiencing malnutrition. I really like him as a person, but he has to change his appointment scheduling, because it is insane. Can't get procedures done in time, and there is always a long wait. I couldn't face that this year, especially feeling as sick as i felt.

I can totally agree with this! Dr Pasternak is great but he could really use a new support team around him. Every time I call I get an attitude and all they want to do is rush me off the phone instead of answering the question.

I went for my first Colonoscopy and he spoke at 100 MPH, sent up my procedure and we lined up like cattle in his office. Asked me who sent me because it saved my life (very dramatic) . Took out 9 poylps and said I need to go to hospital for removal of one more. Had two biopsy's Thank god came back negative for cancer, Now waiting on a week to discuss my next procedure remove polyp that he could not remove. Good thing I was not holding my breath for him to call back

I have yet met any other doctor that listens, reacts, and is more concerned, with my health issues! Also, he is very through explaining to you your conditions with pictorials, models, and handouts as if you're a student in med school! He'll answer All of your questions. He's called me on a number of occasions with either follow up calls or additional information that he has found about my medical conditions and made sure I understood everything. I've been to many GI's and no one compares!

Dr. Pasternak is amazing. His receptionists are nasty, condescending, and rude. Every time I call there is an issue with them. I dread calling here because of it.

Dr. Pasternak is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and thorough. His office runs like a well-oiled machine. He has been my doctor for 10 years and I have had 3 colonoscopies over that time. The procedure is always run perfectly and I am comfortable. They explain everything in detail so you know what to expect. I highly recommend Dr. Pasternak.

When I went to Dr. Pasternack, I had undiagnosed Ulcerated Colitis and 2 stomach ulcers which were missed by a prior gasteroenterologist. After 2 tests, he easily diagnosed both conditions and treated me for them.
