Dr. Henry Spingola, DPM

I went to Dr Spingola for neuropathy in my feet, an in office Xray showed that I had a bigger problem. My left ankle joint had lost proper blood circulation and the bone had died, leaving it fragile. I had been on steroid medication for years because of ulcerative colitis and aggressive autoimmune problems. After talking to Dr. Spingola,it was apparent that my ankle was at risk to break and collapse if I kept walking on it. He did all the necessary imaging tests and we agreed that an implant would be my only chance to save my foot and allow me to continue walking. A special ct scan of my ankle joint was used to create a 3D complete implant. Before my surgery, I was in terrible pain with my ankle. I had surgery the day before Thanksgiving 2024, it was so wonderful to wake up from surgery with no pain. It's been the best decision I could have made, and I picked Dr. Spingola because of his training and experience and he did not disappoint. I would highly recommend him. He has a passion for giving the best care to his patients. I never had any doubts or concerns, in fact...I could barely stand the wait to get my surgery done and get back to walking without pain. Finding Dr Spingola was a blessing. If I had gone to another Dr., they might not have done an Xray and I would have eventually broken or collapsed my ankle,done so much damage to my foot,and leg that I could have had a much different outcome. Dr. Spingola has always been accessable, I always had his complete attention during appointments, he answered all my questions. Before and after surgery he was available and made sure everything was good. Because I was an at risk patient, he made sure that I had his personal phone number and I could call him in case of emergency. My ankle implant surgery is a success, everything went perfectly. Dr. Spingola is the best of the best. I'm glad I found him.
