Grade four prolapse
Very unfortunate. Never allow a health care provider who is unable to correctly insert a pessary to get anywhere near you with sharp instruments. Hard to believe this is a board certified surgeon. Needed a pessary inserted temporarily during a 12 month treatment plan for advanced osteoporosis. Numerous appointment with nurse practitioner, Ms H. Trevino (5). Never received the correct size. One appointment with Dr. Okafor in which I was promised that the correct size would be available & that he would insert it. Not what happened. Correct size was available. However it was not inserted correctly. As a retired nursing instructor, I knew before I stood up that it wasn’t properly placed. Extruded before I got to the bathroom. Six months wasted. Have selected a different surgeon.
