I am 72 years old, type 2 diabetic and overweight. I didn't think there was any hope. I had tried to lose that 'tummy' weight but was never successful. I didn't know if a tummy tuck would help. However, Dr. Mentz made my dreams come true. I have my waistline back, have lost quite a bit of weight and will desperately try to keep it off. I can't say post surgery was easy but after the first day, each day was better. My recovery was actually faster than I anticipated. Thank you Dr Mentz.

I had a bad outcome w this doctor, Dr. Henry Mentz. He left one of my eyes uneven and with Ptosis. He denied anything was wrong w my eye. I have pics posted on RS of the botched eye job. Now my face is beginning to sag after only 2 years. Do not recommend this doctor. I looked so much better before surgery.

Henry Mentz
Dr was extremely, extremely insulting to me! The previous liposuction he performed on my legs, arms, back a few years ago has turned into a lumpy looking nightmare!! I have to cover up!! That’s not easy in summertime in Houston!! I cry all the time. He dismissed this by saying it was from weight loss & I said look at your records my weight has not changed! He then started insulting me saying it was from my lifestyle which makes zero sense. He was grasping at straws & refused to take any responsibility for it. It has ruined my life & it can’t be fixed! I have seen four other drs & they have all said it was because he used to big of a wand!! He is a terrible doctor & trust me when he messes you up he isn’t going to fix it & just like me it might not be fixable!! At the end he actually told me to gain five pounds & come back to see him. What a joke!! Five pounds isn’t going to fix this nightmare!! I feel like my life has changed forever!! In addition my tummy tuck scar zig zag line!!

Not sure what all the hype is, I had an upper eyelid lift one year ago and it today, a year later, my eyelids are drooping again. My left eye more than the left which is how it was originally. I have scar tissue at the outer corner of the left eye which frankly interferes with eyeliner. So basically I spent $4k to have my eyes look exactly the same plus the scar tissue. The doctor appear nice superficially but is rather dismissive and rushed during consultation. I can't get through the office to change my follow up appointments. Maybe they are way too busy to render good service. I am disappointed.

Had a full tummy tuck in Jan 2012. He convinced me to do lipo on back, arms, thighs and knees.....what a mistake that was. When I went in for post op visit I complained of huge roll on left back flank and a mark that ran the entire length of inside of left arm from shoulder to elbow....he assured me both would smoothe out and resolve. After spending $19k there I have had nothing but abdominal pain, and pain on every other location he did lipo. Left thigh uneven. HORRIBLE DOCTOR

I've been a patient of Dr. Mentz for a little over ten years now. I started to have procedures which I will call them "maintenance" when I was in my early 40's. I've had a lower blepharoplasty, forehead lift, liposuction, breast lift, etc. I've been extremely satisfied as a patient and I trust him 110 percent. I did my research before selecting him and I feel confident going to him.

I had a facelift and 9 months on, I still have nerve issues, scar tissue, and the aesthetic result is extremely disappointing. I cry constantly about it. Why didn't listen to my friends and just try to grow old gracefully?
