Dr. Fuentes is very thorough and explains your condition in detail. My arthritic shoulder hasn't felt this good in two years!

Dr. Fuentes has proved to be a great surgeon for me as he has done surgery on my left knee and extensive repair to my right shoulder. He is very personable and takes the time needed to explain everything. Nothing but good for this guy.

I went to see Dr Fuentes for left knee pain. He explained that eventually I'd need a knee replacement but didn't try to pressure me into getting one. I feel as though he really wanted to help me exhaust all options before getting into major surgery. I appreciate his honesty.

My mother who is 79 had knee replacement surgery with Dr Henry Fuentes just two weeks ago. We discovered her knee wasn’t quite straightened and addressed this with him after the physical therapist agreed it wasn’t straight. Dr’s response was that “He doesn’t make the knee straight and always leaves a slight bow” This was NEVER disclosed during consult, post surgery or at her two week follow up. it was only after a family member pointed it out that we realized this. We had to request to see before/after x-rays because he hadn’t bothered to show us. Dr. Fuentes’ response to our concerns is probably what really made this worse for us. No one enters knee replacement just for pain relief but ALSO for aesthetic purposes. It should be the patient’s right to have that decision and not the surgeon. He barely concealed his agitation and was dismissive once he gave an explanation. Patients need and deserve to be informed of any and all health decisions a physician/surgeon intends to make.

He and his entire team are completely committed to the idea of keeping patients AND family 'up to speed' and 'in the loop' every step of the way. VERY Reassuring. He... his whole team, let us know that they were available to answer questions, address our concerns... that we weren't 'bothering' them. He replaced my elderly mother's hip. After she woke up, she told us: O.K., let's get this done... 'Ma', we told her 'it's already done'. And after a little Rehab at Villa Franciscan, she was ready to come home. It don't get any better than that. If I ever need any replacements, I'll want him to do the job. It also didn't hurt that I've been smoking Arturo Fuentes Cigars, since the mid-'60s... 56 years, as I write this.

Dr. Fuentes is always attentive and helpful. He is an absolute sweetheart and I would not see anyone else. I leave the visit comfortable and relaxed knowing I had excellent care.

Dr Fuentes is a very caring doctor. He explained my surgery and what to expect afterwards. He has an excellent bedside manner. I never felt rushed during my appointment. When he heard I was in pain the day after my surgery, he called me to make sure I was ok. He’s a 10?? doctor in my book.

Very nice and never felt rushed. Answered all my questions and when he couldn't help he recommended another dr. Great experience.
