poor bedside manner and lacking in empathy
Dr. Kernan will listen and take meticulous notes in every single thing you say but she won’t change her methods or drug prescriptions based on feedback. If her care plan isn’t working - even after years - she will just add more drugs on top of an already misaligned group of prescriptions. She’s awkward to talk - stiff and cold. I gave her way more time than she deserved.

Sets realistic goals, and doesn't over prescribe
I have been seeing Dr Kernan for almost 2 years now and I will recommend her to any one struggling with depression. She is truly empathetic and genuine, and treats the condition with most evidence based treatment out there .She doesn't act like a pill dispenser. I cannot imagine anyone who has worked with her giving her negative reviews unless they were just looking for secondary gains and weren't actually interested in treatment. She responds to messages in a timely manner and addresses all symptoms with careful compassion.

I have been trying to work with this doctor for way too long. She doesn't listen dictates treat you as if you were a junkie when you've been on medication the same for years. I have tried talking with her and it is impossible. I've had medications screwed up sent to the wrong Pharmacy. had one medication that was promised was sent to the pharmacy wasn't had to call Urgent Care to get it. Please take this serious this woman is practicing it should be watched very carefully.
