Dr. Thakar performed surgery on me. She saved my life. She's awesome, and I'm grateful that she's a gifted surgeon. These are routine post-op visits, and they are always positive.

Dr Thakar is a great surgeon. I had top surgery in spring 2024. She was very kind, respectful, and made sure I was comfortable and actually listened to me. Honestly I have never felt so heard by a medical professional. My surgery went smoothly and so far the results look good. I really enjoyed Dr Thakar as my surgeon and recommend her.

The office and doctor made lots of errors in note taking that made it difficult to provide good care to me. They also didn't really listen to my own goals with gender transition or health needs post surgery and I was misgendered frequently. When I raised concerns the doctor retaliated by discontinuing me as a patient, denying me life-saving surgery.

Dr.Thakar is a fantastic surgeon. Though, the office staff is horrible. There was no follow through, forgetful staff, 45-60 min. waits while you hear the staff chit chat about life around the desks. Susan Sellers who takes care of the insurance for the office is rude and lazy. She should be fired to be honest. Overall, I will say the result was good but the process was a nightmare.
