Dr. Heidi Rosenberg, MD

Dr. Rosenberg is very condescending and rude. Terrible bedside manner. Dismissive of questions and is very pushy for you to fit into her agenda of what she thinks is 'right' for you without much room for explanation and a definite lack of empathy. She also is a big time pusher of labor inductions, which is frustrating. In my 38 week OB appointment she talked to me as if I were a patient with gestational diabetes and was giving me TERRIBLE medical advice, because I actually have juvenile (T1D) diabetes (20+ years). She is a horrible doctor that should never have moved up the ranks at NYU. I would never see her again and do not recommend her as a practitioner.

Dr. Rosenberg was one of the doctors who saw me for a prenatal app . Throughout the appointment she seemed condescending and not want to listen to any of my concerns . Instead she just told me that my decisions were not very smart. I was not sure about getting the RSV VACCINE , and she was extraemos pushy about getting it. She sighs a couple of times and seemed annoyed ,as if she just wanted to get the appointment over with and that’s about it . I felt no connection or care from her . I would not recommend .

Dr Rosenberg was incredibly professional and kind to me. I did all my prenatal visits with her in the height of Covid in 2020. Its important to state that being a first time, older mom and woman of color - I already had trepidation about how my experience would be. I was quite aware of all the risks. And Dr Rosenberg was truly incredible. She listened and I felt she genuinely cared. She paid attention and always explained things well. On the delivery day - she was so assuring and literally stayed with me and my husband and daughter for over 4 hours post delivery as my blood pressure was refusing to settle down. She only left once I was in the clear. While in hospital she came by daily to check on me and baby and afterwards by phone. I was truly truly impressed by her genuine care and kindness. I am forever grateful she was my OBGYN during this miracle moment of my life.

Dr Rosenberg is a tremendous doctor, with great experience and care. Yes, if you read reviews, she might not always be 100 percent warm and fuzzy. However, she is very well educated and takes tremendous care of her patients. When I was 30 (before marriage and kids) I was faced with an impossible situation with a gigantic fibroid in the worst location possible by all my major blood vessels. There was a high chance of hysterectomy, which would have impacted my entire life. Not only did Dr Rosenberg save me from a hysterectomy by taking great care, but she also delivered my first baby. She took the time to thoroughly research my case and also brought in a 2nd surgeon/expert to help save me from a hysterectomy. I now have two children and couldn't be more grateful. Sometimes experience and knowledge outweighs warm and fuzzy. And actually if you get to know her better, she is actually very personable, nice and caring.

AVOID DR. HEIDI ROSENBERG AT ALL COSTS. This lady is not fit to be a doctor, we literally walked out of our appointment. She is the worst type of doctor you can imagine. Doesn’t listen to you, doesn’t have time for you, has all the answers for you before you even open your mouth. We literally left the NYU system because of her. Please please avoid her!!

Very condescending and did not explain things well. I felt I was being lectured to. I felt she didn't listen to my concerns at all. I will not be returning to this provider.

I came on this website before my appointment with Dr Rosenberg and saw several 1 star reviews that all claimed she was cold, short, dismissive so I went into my appointment afraid. She could not have been further from that! She was welcoming and warm from the start and felt like she was a trusted mom giving her own adult daughter advice on pregnancy. I thought she was really calm, poised, experienced and laid back. She allowed ample time to ask questions and did not rush my visit at all. She really spoke to me about all the various things in my medical history and made sure I was doing all the necessary things and knew what to expect on future appointments. Honestly I really liked her and truly am shocked by the bad reviews. The whole reason I wanted to leave this review was to set the record straight! I'd be more than happy for her to deliver my baby and handle my care.

This was my first and will definitely be my last routine visit with Dr. Rosenberg. To start, she was an hour late for my appointment. Things were only went downhill from there. She was extremely condescending about my immunization choices (and gave me an unprompted lecture that took up most of the short appointment). She even had the audacity to roll her eyes at me at one point. She rushed through the entire appointment and did not bother to ask me if I had any questions or concerns at the end (every other doctor I’ve seen has always made time for questions and made me feel heard). She was so nasty throughout the appointment, that I was on the verge of tears by the time it was over. If she’s on call when I deliver, I will be adamant about seeing another doctor.

Very rude doctor. She was annoyed that other doctor scheduled usg after an incomplete miscarriage and was truly unhappy that now she needs to check it. I hope i would not see her ever again.

I had a routine prenatal with this doctor today. I understand NYU is a rotating clinic and it’s in our best interest to meet everyone. This was my first time meeting Rosenberg and thankfully my last in terms of routine visits. She was late, rushing, condescending, answered 0 questions and instead told me to watch videos from the NYU website. Echoing what another reviewer wrote I am now anxious she would be the OB on call when I give birth. She would be the very last person I would pick if I could.

Dr. Rosenberg was late to my virtual appointment, and did not introduce herself though it was our first time meeting. She had a condescending tone when I asked questions related to genetic testing results, and did not provide helpful information until I probed further. She also did not ask if I had any additional questions or concerns at the end of the appointment, and seemed eager to finish the appointment as soon as possible. She asked if I had completed pre-testing, even though nothing had been communicated to me, and even laughed at my concerns. I hope to never have to meet with her again during my pregnancy.

I did not feel like she listened to my concerns at all, but was rather judgmental and rude. At one point, she even rolled her eyes and laughed at me. I now have major anxiety that she could possibly be the OB on call when I deliver my baby.

I've suffered from severe menstrual cramps since teenage years. As I've gotten older, the pain has become consistent and worse. Nothing helps with the pain. Until recently, I was a patient of Dr Rosenberg almost ten years and she has my medical history. We tried many different types of BC over the years but nothing has helped. I seen her recently to further push my concerns and figure out next steps, as BC does not work, but she shot down any and every concern and told me it's in my head.

Dr Rosenthal is great doctor. Calm, commanding, and compassionate. You can't go wrong.
