Dr. Heidi Rasmussen, MD

We chose Dr. Rasmussen as our family physician almost four years ago. In that time, she has become a trusted advisor to each of us individually, and a treasured confident to our family unit. She has been with us as we navigated our first major illness with one of our children and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. We searched long and hard to find someone like Heidi and I am so glad we didn’t stop looking until we found her. She never dictates or shames. She teaches, listens, and gives each of us the time and attention needed to make wise decisions. She’s a true individual; what you need by your side when you make life’s major choices.

Dr. Rasmussen is very caring, compassionate and very thorough. She spends a lot of time to get to the root of the problem and does not just treat the symptoms. I have found that she does a nice blend of integrative and Western Medicine. Her office is very warm and welcoming environment and not like most doctor's offices. Her Office Manager is delightful, too.

Dr Rasmussen was the Functional Medicine practitioner I had been waiting to find and more. After getting no where with basic blood tests and my primary care, she took time to look at the whole picture and recommended lifestyle changes and supplements to treat the cause, not just the symptoms. Great bedside manor, compassionate and caring. Also appreciated her osteopathic background, a true healer

She is knowledgeable, compassionate, attentive, holistic...all that I'm looking for in a doctor. I appreciate the fact that she practices functional medicine.
