Care and Persistent in Finding Cause
Fighting through migraines, Dr Larison was persistent in looking for resolutions. Always able to get me in soon, with PA or Dr when migraines were not controlled.

Dropped without notification & life sustaining
Dropped without notification & life sustaining medication not refill. Without the notification or reason, explaining why I was dropped I was unaware I have two pills left before I am completely out. Now I have to scramble to find a doctor and try and get my medication filled. This is right after they had my labs run for panel of labs so we paid for that very unprofessional a professional would’ve filled my life sustaining medication and giving me notification. I also found that she was difficult to deal with in the office. My husband and my niece followed me over there. That will be three of us leaving would strongly not recommend her. to think you put your life in these peoples hands.

Time to look for another PCP
Been a patient of Dr. larison for over a decade now. I stuck with her after she moved to her independent practice. However for couple of years her quality of care has deteriorated. For the last several years she is booked for a month out and i have been asked to see her NP instead. Even when i scheduled an appointment with her her NP showed up saying Dr. larison was running behind with her other appointments.

Quack
This individual should be a cosmetologist instead. She really doesn't understand medicine and hires incompetent PAs as well. She doesn't examine the patient and sends for diagnostic tests that are not warranted. Health PROTOCOLS are not followed. The chart is not looked at, as evidenced by contradictions with prior DXs and medications prescribed. Lots of mistakes.....Staff has actually said they are too busy to help.

Thought I found “the” doctor for me. Boy was I wrong! Arrogant and judgmental! Nice at first and then shows her true colors eventually. I would not recommend her to anyone.

She will seem like a great dr on your first visit, but that will most likely be the last time you see her even though I schedule my appointments specifically with Larison, either something came up so she had to leave or they automatically scheduled it with her P.A. During one appointment, after finishing up lab work they returned me to my room and forgot that i was there. I was there for another good 45 before they realized i was waiting and laughed about it.

Money grabber! I thought Ms. Larison would be a great new PCP for me. Met her last year and thought this would be a great trade from my previous doctor. But all I needed this year was my annual fasting lab for cholesterol. Her staff deceived me into a follow-up visit to "discuss" those results, but they were never discussed. (at home later, I Googled the meaning of my results from a printout I'd been given, which was the only "discussion" I'd received, and I and Dr. Google figured out I was fine.) I was tricked into more testing because they led me to believe something else was terribly wrong. No. they were just LOOKING for something wrong. Once I caught on I called to speak to Ms. Larison. She defended everything her staff said and I would be billed for all "services" received, wanted, expected or not -- over $300! Thank goodness I'd cancelled the $600 ct scan they'd also ordered. What was that for, I asked? Just to to make sure you don't have stomach cancer. WHAT???

My old PCP moved out of Kansas so looked for new one. Search led to Dr Larison. The first 2 visits in the past month were good. My hubby decided to see her as well. I went with him to his first appt. Bad visit. She tried to get him to change his DNR, and started meddling with diabetes meds, etc. After we left, we both vowed she was not the right doctor for either one of us. Her staff is wonderful. Her PA is someone whom I knew when she worked for another doc. This PA prescribed a med that would create high liver enzymes which he already has. It would have increased his pulse. He already has a problem with that. Obviously she had not looked at his records. That is careless and irresponsible.

I will never see Heidi Larison again. She was not helpful, talked down to me, and acted like she was better than everyone else. I also saw her snap at her staff and treat them like they are beneath her. Say some a lot about her character.

I recommend her to everyone I can. Doctor Larison is a smart, expert at diagnosing, caring, thorough, friendly, competent doctor. Please know that you will not only have great Doctor but a friend. The staff, from the front desk, to nurses assistants, to the phlebotomist, physical therapist, to the extra technician, to the Insurance preapproval Lady, and especially the onsite Pharmacist are all wonderful. The Pharmacist just helped me save over $1000 . Please give consideration to Doctor Heidi.

Horrible bedside manner. Horrible patient care. She kept me waiting for over an hour, and then instead of acknowledging her lack of time management skills, she acted ARROGANT and CONDESCENDING. Save yourself the hassle of wasting time with this doctor. She is terrible.
