I’ve seen Dr. Close a couple of times now, and all I’ve gotten from her is that she just always has to be right. She told me that my issues are all caused by me clenching my jaw. (I do this, but that doesn’t cause a constant sniffle). I expressed that it doesn’t explain everything and she proceeded to explain that I “wasn’t listening to her” and she didn’t understand how I “didn’t see how they were trying to help me”. When I expressed I’ve been so miserable I failed a test she suggested I take a semester off since I “can’t deal with school and my health issues at the same time. Just every concern or comment I made about what I was experiencing she completely dismissed in a very VERY rude manor.

I paid $1500 for 3 visits where she spent maybe 5 minutes with me. I have had a chronic cough since April. Her diagnosis was loss of voice and I was told to try not to cough and to hum through a straw to bring my voice back. She never addressed the coughing even when I asked as I was again told to "try not to cough". I finally went to another doctor and I am going to pulmonologist because they can't get the cough to stop. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

I took my son to see Dr. Close for a growth in his nose. We were told that it would be less expensive to schedule an outpatient surgery in a "surgical center" rather than at the hospital. After authorizing the procedure with my insurance, I was told that I would have an out of pocket expense of $332 that would need to be paid before the surgery. A month later I started receiving insurance EOB's and bills from multiple entities; the surgical center, another hospital, anesthesiologist, and a lab,
