Dr. Heena Ahmed, MD

I don’t remember how and when I started seeing Dr. Heena Ahmed for my chronic pains but I appreciate how she manage my pain and my husband’s pain too. We are so blessed to have her as a doctor for a while and it hurts me deeply when she said she can’t be our Doctor anymore because she is moving away to be close to home. She is a young , motivated, and very knowledgeable of her profession. We won’t be seeing her again but I’m sure that there will be a lot of patients that will benefit from her knowledge and good bedside manner. I’ll promise not to forget the last phrase she told me” I believe that you will get well”. And I promise to strive to get better. Thank you Dr. Heena Ahmed . I pray that God will bless you because you genuinely care for people.

I agree, this was not helpful. I provided my medical records, including MRI results from top surgeons, clearly showing the severity of my osteoarthritis pain. Each time I requested something to help with my pain, sleep, or anxiety, I was advised to see a psychiatrist. Really? I am 57 years old and have never experienced a medical professional advising me to see another doctor, wasting my time and money, when they could easily prescribe something like zolpidem or clonazepam. I wasted my time taking off work and paying a copay. This doctor showed no empathy for what I am dealing with, despite clearly seeing that I had undergone six knee surgeries at Baylor (including arthroscopic and knee replacement surgeries on both knees) with scars to prove it. Now, I am experiencing back pain as confirmed by my MRI. The arrogance is unnerving and unnecessary.

This doctor has terrible bedside manners. She does not listen and thinks she knows more than any other doctor. I’ve been coming here a few months now, and my issue has only gotten worse with no resolution in sight. If you can help it, find someone else. I’ll be crippled before I actually get the help I’m needing from her.
