Dr. Dox is a very great Christian Doctor who cares about his patients! He explains everything where you can understand it and that means alot! My husband, John Hill will be having open heart surgery January 14th and we both know that he will be in excellent hands with Dr. Dox performing the surgery. We would highly recommend Dr. Dox to any of our friends and family.Thank youBeverly and John Hill

Terrible bedside manner
This doctor is an amazing surgeon, he is great with accepting glory from the Lord in the care of his patients. The only bad thing is, with great hands and skills, comes the worst bedside manner I’ve seen. He lacks therapeutic communication as he treats all patients as if they were the same, instead of looking at all angles to achieve the proper outcome for his patient. He considers the family, but should most importantly consider the patient. He has a hard time with looking past patients who are difficult and need more attention in areas they struggle, which instead of helping them in a professional respectful manner, he chooses to use harsh words and unprofessional language. He brings too much of his personal feelings into situations and fails to remember the patients care and success is the number one importance. It is sad to see such a wonderfully skilled doctor, be arrogant and lack bedside manner and respect when needed most.

Dr. Dox is the BEST!!!
This man saved my husbands life. I can’t say enough about him and his team. They called me at each step of the procedure to update me how he was doing, two of the calls directly from Dr Dox himself. I don’t know ANY doctor that cares so much for their patients and the family! Absolutely love him!!

We Love Doc Dox!
I had to have emergency aortic valve replacement surgery when I was 49 years old, about a year ago. My heart is great now. No more palpitations, shortness of breath or dizziness. Dr Dox was amazing. He cared. He listened. He prayed for me. I am so appreciative for his expert care… it makes me want to cry still, a year later! I hope Dr Dox is still working and helping people like me. I thank God every day for being alive and giving us doctors like Dr Dox.

Great surgeon
Dr. Dox saved my life. Need I say more? He is blunt and forthright with all possibilities of what you are facing but that was what I respected about him. He prayed with us before we went into surgery. God blessed his work and I came through. Quad bypass. 3 arteries 100% blocked and 1 was 80% blocked. He said only by the grace of God was I still alive.Thank you Dr. Dox. Words cannot express enough of how thankful am.

Dr. Dox did open heart surgery on my sister. He talked very ugly to her. He sent her home from the hospital with a collapsed lung and infected wounds on her body. She later passed away from his negligence.

Fantastic Doctor. Dr. Dox and his staff are amazing. He truly cares about his patients and their family. He is a genuine human being. Once I was under his care he was there everyday. He informed me of the entire procedure , step by step and made sure I understood the risk. i will recommend Dr. Hector Dox to any and every one.

Dr Dox scared me he told me I was going to definitely have surgery and my bp needed to stay low at all time. Then next visit told me your fine you don’t need my services. He should never tell a patient they definitely need surgery without knowing for sure.

I experienced outstanding care from Dr. Dox and his staff. It is very obvious that those who work along side Dr. Dox have a high level of confidence in him as well as a willingness to support his team care approach. My good recovery can be diredtly tied to his ability to inspire me to help myself in getting back to the normal activities of my life. I have and will refer his care for anyone who needs cardiac care.
