Dr. Heather Zawahry is very attentive and on top of things. Great bedside manner.

If you Need a doctor, go somewhere else. I have been called the day before my appointment 2 times this year alone to reschedule. The last time they called to cancel was to review an ultrasound and lab work; I already had to wait 2 weeks for my appointment for them to call the day before, and reschedule me for 2-1/2 wks later and then the office cancelled my next appointment, by MISTAKE. Couldn't reschedule for another 2 months because she went on vacation (that's why they mistakenly cancelled my appointment, she was already on vacation!). I had to go to the hospital and request my results and had them read by another doctor. In all, it took 2 months to get my results and to find out 2 months later that I have kidney problems that could have been addressed 2 months ago.

I was one of this Dr's first patients many years ago. I am on palliative care now and have been on and off for several years and need a specialist so I dont have the pleasure of a visit much anymore but for many years this Dr provided me with excellent care for a very complex problem. Very thorough, professional considerate and compassionate care. The office is sometimes busy yes but its worth any wait you may have and I have never had a issue with the staff. I f you need a good Family Practice Dr. Who genuinely cares about patients, Dr Shaffer is a excellent Dr.

the first visit was OK, the following 2 visits she was in a hurry, hardly explained results of my x-ray. I don't know if she got me confused with another patient or what, she was under the impression I was seeing a specialist. The staff is very rude, you almost feel like they are doing you a favor. They also close the office at noon.

Doctor Shaffer is very unreliable and unprofessional. Had agreed to do follow up care to surgery, scheduled a 2 week follow up appt. before the surgery. Office called a few days prior to that appt. to reschedule and wanted to reschedule a month and a 1/2 out. When I mentioned that this was a 2 week follow up to surgery, the offices reply was "yes it's noted here". Doctor Shaffer totally bailed on me.

called numerous of times!! left a message and email no response. Staff is rude and not knowledgeable.

I have been seeing Dr. Shaffer for about a year now. She is caring, compassionate, and very thorough. Her staff is wonderful. I have made two urgent appointments with her and both times I was seen the same day. I have never had a better doctor.

Dr. Shaffer has been my doctor for the last three and half years. During this time, I have always found her to be friendly, approachable, professional and earnestly concerned about my well being. In a medical system that often does not treat patients as an important priority, Dr. Shaffer is the exception. Her knowledge of family medicine is excellent. Her concern for getting to the root of a health problem is exemplary. I feel blessed to have her as my primary care physician.

This really is a terrible practice. Dr. Shaffer is completely inept and on most visits, rushed appointment, providing very poor service. The office staff is very rude as well. It's not a healthy culture at all.

When I called to make my appointment, my insurance was verified over the phone. I waited almost 2 months for an opening. I took the day off of work to be able to go to this much needed appointment, and showed up 20 mins early to fill out paperwork. I sat insurance their office for 40 mins before they told me that I could not be seen because they do not accept my insurance. Nobody should be treated this way.

Dr. Shaffer sees myself, my husband and my adult son, and I readily recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care doctor. She is friendly, professional and efficient. She has great "bed-side" manner and she and her staff have done an amazing job taking care of our family. I trust her implicitly and appreciate the time and care she takes with each patient, with normally minimal wait times.

I visited Dr. Shaffer's office twice. The first visit she was very compassionate and caring. The second visit, she was in a hurry (busy office) and actually shouted to me when I was checking out to "have flu shot". Before my third visit I had a severe ear ache and called her office early in the morning - asking if she could write a script and/or see me for 5 minutes. I was referred to Urgent Care in Lynn Haven (I live at the beach). I need a physician who will help in emergency situations.

Dr. Shaffer has been our family physician for many years. She is thorough, knowledgeable and treats my family with the utmost respect. She was instrumental in helping me establish specialized care through a significant health crisis. Her office staff is helpful and friendly.

I have been seeing Dr. Shaffer for several years. I have been absolutely happy with Dr. Shaffer and her staff. They are all very caring and efficient. Dr. Shaffer leaves nothing unquestioned. She is quite thorough with arriving at a diagnosis. I am happy that I am older than she and her staff, so I don't have to worry about them retiring and me being without them as my primary care team. I, simply, would not consider replacing them!
