Not impressed
She put me on levothyroxine and after 3 months my primary doctor called said I shouldn’t be taking that. Next time I saw her she said “I don’t know why anyone would prescribe that for you” I’m like ummm you did. Had a biopsy done and called for weeks and weeks for the results with no calls back.

Dismissed
She is a very friendly and polite doctor. If you like passive, soft-spoken doctors, she is perfect. I felt like she listened in the beginning and was willing to help but has since just been a doctor for maintenance. I haven't reached a level where maintenance should be her job yet. I am non-confrontational and felt like since I requested to try a specific medication, she wrote me off as a "know-it-all." The time before last, I never received a call or message regarding my labs. I just got a call from the pharmacy with a new prescription for an OTC supplement. No reasons behind the new script, just said it was low. But why? Guess I'll find out with a new doctor, (I hope). This last visit took a month before I got a message regarding my labs. That has never been the problem before. Always was contacted via phone on Fridays if labs were done after the visit. Thyroid Cancer Survivor 15+yrs 3rd Endo I've seen.

Best Care Ever!
I have visited a few endocrinologists over many years and I can say, without a doubt, that Dr. Heather Corn provides the best standard of care I have received. From the initial visit, interpretation and explanation of lab results, and follow-up appointments, she has been very knowledgeable and helpful! I’m surprised at the other reviews on here because they do not seem likely accurate given my experiences with her.

Not at all likely.
All in all about a 10 minute visit. She simply did nothing. Anyone can order a blood test.

Saw Dr. Corn for abnormal test results from my PCP awhile back. She ordered lab work and the results came back within 12 hours showing deficiencies for multiple hormones that are affecting my ability to function. It's been 2+ weeks now and I've left Dr. Corn's office multiple messages asking for a callback or follow up so I can start treatment or get further testing since I am so unwell and am now having to take time off work due to illness from the deficient hormones. No communication from the office and no word from Dr. Corn. My office visit reports aren't even in the system yet despite the fact that it's been 2+ weeks. I've no interest in even seeing Dr. Corn again at this point and will be asking for a different endocrinologist.

After a long wait, I finally got in to see Dr Corn. She knew I was there for thyroid (hashimotos) but I believe she assumed I had diabetes, acted like I was lying when I told her I never had it, gestational or otherwise. Asked about my diet and when I told her I was an outpatient for an eating disorder and following their program she was VERY inappropriate and insisted on knowing what me and my therapist discuss. Been 3+ weeks since my lab work and still havent heard. I dont think she tested T3.
