So first of all my rating is based on the overall experience. Yesterday was my first visit with this provider and I have mixed feelings about it. The staff was wonderful, very courteous, and my questions and concerns were answered but this is the first time that I have been to a doctor and specially as a new patient where the entire visit was handled by a student nurse alone. Not a visit where a student is trying to learn and the doctor tries to teach. The student nurse performed the entire visit by itself and the doctor come in for 2 second (standing) at the end to kind of recap on my concerns and that's it. She didn't do an exam or anything else to check the student's work or notes. I don't have any medical problem so I don't know if that was going to make any difference or not on her actually performing the exam herself but I would expect in the future when I make an appointment with a DOCTOR to actually be seen by a doctor. So we'll see about future visits after I am contacted on all the lab work that was ordered and done.

Excellent with older people
Dr Collins is my 80 YO mother's doctor and she always goes above and beyond in her care. She is very attentive herself and has an amazing staff. She is especially well versed in making sure my doctor-adverse mother is at ease with her care and especially helpful with a recent Inpatient stay.

Rude office workers
I have been a patient of Dr. Collins for 17 yrs. Since she moved to Holy Redeemer the people that work in her office are extremely rude. When you go for an appointment, prepare to encounter an office full of students. Who will all discuss your medical history and reason for visit. They will also come in for the exam ,you have to wait while Dr. Collins explains everything to her student. I hav dealt with all this bc I really liked Dr. Collins. But today was the end when I had to reschedule because of an emergency. My boyfriend was rushed to the hospital due to a heart attack. The always rude secretary informed me that ii would hav to pay $50 to cancel. Didn't ask why , didn't care. She said I had to give 24 hr notice. I told her they were closed yesterday due to the fact it was Easter and a Sunday She then said I should have left a message.I will b looking for a new Dr.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Collins. I had gone to a previous doctor and was diagnosed with a condition that scared me. The other doctor told me what to do and when I asked questions did not answer me. I went to Dr Collins for a 2nd opinion and she was kind, caring and truly apathetic. She explained and devised a plan with me. It could not have been better! I trust her judgment and medical advice. So glad I went and saw her!!

Extremely rude, I’ve never experienced a Doctor be so rube including her staff! I will never return to her and I don’t recommend her to anyone!!!. I asked a simple question in regards to testing with covid, she was very rube to me because “she’s tired of repeating herself to people who’s asking her the same question” this is new to everyone worldwide your blessed enough to know a little more, so educating your patients instead of not wanting to repeat yourself would make you and your staff a bit more professional. I hope she learns how to be compassionate in times like this.

Not recommended, Dr. Collins seems to have a very short attention span in dealing with her patients, either that or she just doesn't care .. it's very difficult to tell with the lack of of professional demeanor exhibited by her or her staff. It's always very hard finding a new doctor but after 10 years, the last 4 years of visits have gotten worse and worse. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Collins to anyone. Was a patient of Dr. Collins for about 10 years.

Smart and effective. Exactly what I needed after previous PCP failed to recognize a serious health condition after years of complaining of same symptoms. Dr. Collins is a life saver.

Dr. Collins is generally nice. She doesn't linger in the exam room, and is sometimes too quick to get you in and out. The admin staff are terribly rude and act like you are inconveniencing them. After being seen by the Dr. I was rushed out like leaves being swept into the street. Needed to get blood work done, but was given scant directions as to where to go to get the work done. I will be seeking out a new provider as soon as possible.

Staff is terribly rude. Would not allow me to make an appointment for a sick visit since I never came in for a new patient consultation. So instead I had to pay out of pocket to be seen by an urgent care. I WILL be changing my pcp this enrollment period. Excepting new patients is a lie. Make sure you make a well visit before you get sick. What a joke.

She lies which for a doctor is not acceptable. Saw her for Pain management off and on for 10 years. I was injured while I was in the service. Back pain issues, the last few visits she has been telling me to call in scripts to be pick--lies to my new doctor, apparently the law had change no pain meds are to be presribed by anyone but a pain management doctor. She never told me the law had changed so when I went to me new doctor She revered me to be a drug seeker. It will take months to off this

I have been a patient of Dr. Collins for 10+ years and cannot say enough good things about her. Dr. Collins obtains all of the best qualities you look for in a physician. Her staff is friendly and always picks up the phone, her emails phone calls are always returned. You can always get a Rx refill and apt when needed. You NEVER wait in the waiting room or to see her. She is thorough and listens intently. Dr. Collins tells it like it is, and tells you what to expect. She is fantastic!
