Dr. Heather Branstetter, MD

I have had ulcerative colitis since the late 80s, Colonoscopies about every other year since then, and top-notch gastroenterologists in the four major cities where I’ve lived. Heather Branstetter is by far the most thorough physician I’ve ever met. She takes the time to really listen and carefully explain what I need to know. She has tested for things that no other physician has considered and has frequently found something out of balance that has helped me I cannot recommend her more highly. She has earned my trust.Like some others, I am not a fan of her office staff, but that seems to be more universal every day in doctor’s offices.

Dr. Branstetter takes her time explaining things and I believe genuinely cares about her patients. If it weren’t for her, I don’t believe that my Crohn’s disease would be getting better. I am so thankful that I found her.

Horrendous Customer Service Made several attempts to make an appointment with Dr. Branstetter. After being hung up on after being on hold FINALLY reached someone who told me I needed to have a referral. Fine, I had my PCP send over a referral. No call, no NOTHING! I asked my PCP if they had any response and I was advised that my referral was denied. No explanation was given, no calls NOTHING! I called Dr. Branstetter office and spoke with Shannon. She asked me my name and dob, placed me on hold and never came back. It really takes a lot for me to write a review but I really felt this time is warranted. There are a lot of gastroenterologists in the Dallas-/Fort Worth area, if you want to be respected as a human being, please go somewhere else. Dr. Branstetter should find office help that has some customer service skills.

Very Positive experience with Dr. Branstetter, had my second colonoscopy with her and the whole process from making an appt to completing the procedure was easy and guided by the assistants on the phone to receive meds for the procedure. Care at the surgical center was pleasant and all done in a timely manner. All my questions answered.

Dr. Branstetter took her time to explain the procedure that I would have. Most important, she took the time to listen to my questions and answered them thoroughly. Dr. Branstetter is professional yet friendly. Her staff is as professional as she is. I want her to be my gastroenterologist for a long time.

Dr. Branstetter continues to amaze me with her skill, knowledge & professionalism. I just had my 3rd colonoscopy and it went very well. I’m always at ease knowing I’m in “great hands”.

I met Dr Branstetter for the first time on the 1st of August. She was great!! She listened intently as I described what was going on and then she went step by step on how she would like to alleviate those problems. I sensed that she really cares for her patients. She didn't try and rush anything like some doctors I've had in the past. I would recommend Dr Branstetter, in a heartbeat, to anybody that had need for a Gastroenterologist!!! Dr. Brandsetter is wonderful. She sits down with me and explains everything. She answers all my questions and is NEVER in a rush. I trust her 10000000%. Nicole is the absolute best medical assistant. She is so efficient. She’s so sweet and really cares about her patients. I am so happy I found Dr. Branstetter and Nicole.

I am so thankful for Dr Branstetter I had seen another Dr so long and could not get a reason for my symptoms do I was referred to Dr Branstetter and I’m so Grateful and Thankful for her caring, listening and attentive concern for her patients she allowed me to tell her and she decided the best action to figure out what was going on and because of her care and professionalism we found the problem and I was sent to a surgeon and we got the issue resolved and I’m feeling better because she was attentive to my health concerns and she listened and took action to get to the root of the problems I will forever be GRATEFUL and THANKFUL and will refer her to friends and family. I like Dr Branstetter, more importantly I trust her. She's been my gastroenterologist for about four years. She's smart and upbeat. She's straightforward. I've already recommended her to my husband whom I love very much. I want his health in the hands of someone competent.

I absolutely love his doctor. I have seen her for three different reasons and she is amazing. So thorough and her bedside manner is off the charts. She deserves 10 stars.

Had consultation and Dr. Branstetter instantly put me at ease, was very thorough, answered my questions, and was quite funny! Haven’t even had the procedure yet, but I highly recommend her.

My recent visit to Dr. Branstetters office was excellent. Very organized from start to finish. The wait time in the waiting room is almost non existent. Dr. Branstetter has excellent bedside manors. One of the most personable Dr's I've seen in a long time. She listens and gives very informative feedback. If you are looking for a great gastro she is excellent.

The office at TDDC is the most efficient doctor’s office I have been to in a long time. Their phone screening prior to my appointment to get pertinent information is awesome. Makes checking in the day of your appointment easy and quick. Dr. Branstetter was on time, didn’t rush me, answering all my questions. She is easy to talk to, never talking over me or at me.

As long as you have an obvious condition she is great

Dr Branstetter is thorough. Takes time to listen.

Dr. Branstetter and staff are very professional, great bedside manner, never felt rushed or that any question was unimportant.
