Thorough, professional and kind
I’ve been seeing Dr. Barnes since she started at ICV. She’s always professional, kind and thorough. She listens and prescribes appropriate medications or therapies for anything that arises. If she thinks I need a referral she is willing to send me to a specialist. I always feel that my health is in good hands with her.

Caring professional
I went to see Dr Barnes for knee pain. I was seen in a timely manner and never seemed rushed. She spent time going over medical history and medications with me and genuinely cared for my situation. Dr Barnes asked about any other medical issues and took the time to put in referrals for other specialists I need to see

Best Physician
I have been a patient for over fourteen years with diabetes, heart and hypertension issues. Dr. Heather Barnes has successfully treated any issues I have, monitored my health in timely fashion, made wise choices regarding medications, listened to my concerns and recommended specialists, if needed. I appreciate her more than I can say. The best!

Best Doctor
My daughter and I have been seeing Dr Barnes for 15 years. She has saved my life a few times and saved my daughter’s life once. She is caring, kind, and listens to you. I’ve had doctors that didn’t remember me and obviously didn’t read over my history before they came in the room. That is not the case with Dr Barnes. She remembers everything about our medical history. My daughter and I both pray that Dr Barnes never leaves Yukon or retirees. We never want another doctor again.

Always a pleasant experience
For the past 12-plus years, Dr. Barnes has been my PCP, and she also delivered my child and has been his primary since then. Not once have we had a negative experience. My most recent appointment brought me some scary news, and Dr. Barnes made sure I understood exactly what the diagnosis meant, addressed my concerns, and we decided together which specialist I would be referred to. She truly is the best and we feel blessed to have such a wonderful physician caring for our family.

Always listens and provides amazing care
I’ve been going to Dr. Barnes for over a decade. I have had a whirlwind of different health issues in that time and she always handles them with respect and kindness and understanding. Absolutely the best Dr I have ever encountered in my life at any facility.

I have been going to Dr. Barnes for over 10 years and she has been nothing but amazing. It is easy to be open and honest with her and whatever you are telling her you can tell she is really listening and cares. Super sweet, smart and funny. I can’t imagine ever going to another doctor again!!
