Dr. Hazel Tuazon, MD

I began seeing Dr. Tuazon 13 years ago when I moved to the valley. I couldn’t have selected a better provider! She has been with me through annual gyno check ups and two C-section deliveries with my children. She has been nothing but professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. She takes her time and goes above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable. This is really important to me as selecting a provider to guide me through my pregnancy and deliver my children is very personal.Dr. Tuazon is an excellent doctor and wonderful person. Recommend her highly!

Dr. Tuazon has been my OBGYN now for the past 4 years now. Started seeing Dr. Tuazon when me and my husband were ready to get pregnant with our third baby and we went for a consultation. Through our all the visits she treated me with respect and kindness every time I went to see her, and she continues to treat me the same way. At the time of delivery she wasn’t even on call but she made sure to be there for me and the baby, delivery went very smooth and she was very professional. She’s always given me great advice on everything and she takes her time to explain everything to me. I’ve had procedures in the OR as well with Dr. Tuazon and she was perfect and great bedside manners. She called the next day to check on me how I was feeling and said if I needed anything to reach out to her. I could go on and on about Dr. Tuazon… highly recommend her and the staff at the Fogelsville office. Thank you Dr. Tuazon thank you team. Keep up the great work…

Dr Tuazon delivered my son over 6 years ago and I’ve seen her annually for regular gyn check-ups ever since. She is nothing but professional, kind, and her bed side manor is second to none. Last year, I went through a bit of a health scare, and she got me imaging and to a gyn onc within days. She is truly one of the best!

I decided to reach out to Dr. Tuazon’s office when I realized it was time to switch my previous care I was receiving elsewhere. I chose Dr. Tuazon’s office because I heard nothing but positive things about her and her staff. When it came time to my first appointment with her, I admittedly felt accepted, respected, cared for, loved and most importantly heard and understood. When my body basically told me it was time to give birth control a break, I spoke to Dr. Tuazon about my concerns and she agreed with me and allowed me to trial being off birth control. A couple months later, I was calling her to tell her I was expecting my first baby and boy oh boy was she there every cry, smile, concern and question. She never left the room in a hurry and always made sure my baby and I received the best care. She was unable to delivery my baby unfortunately but checked in and came to visit me the next day. I would highly recommend Dr. Tuazon in a heartbeat to any of my family members or friends.

I saw Dr. Tuazon for a few years for GYN services until I got pregnant this past year in which I saw her throughout my pregnancy. I only wanted all of my appointments with her. She has always made me feel heard, never dismissed my concerns, and has always went above and beyond for me before/during/after my pregnancy. She is an active listener and comes up with solutions to any concerns or problems you may have. I always felt comfortable with her & knew she would do whatever she could to make me feel at ease. She is the best of the best at what she does and the best doctor (and best OBGYN) I have ever been to - so much that I refer all of my friends and family to her. Whoever is her patient is lucky to have her!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Tuazon for almost 15 years. She is kind, empathetic and thorough. She listened to my worries during pregnancy, helped me make a birth plan and helped me adjust when my birth plan didn’t go as scheduled and I needed an emergency c section. She handled everything calmly and explained everything so I was comfortable with my experience. I believe Dr Tuazon saved my life and my son’s life that day and I will be forever grateful to her. When I became pregnant again and called her crying she brought me in right away, started me on blood thinners and assured me she would keep her eye on things so I could have another positive experience. She let me decide how I wanted to deliver the 2nd time and respected my choice once it was made. She’s taken excellent care of me post-babies and she’s become someone I call a friend and is always willing to listen and help at appointments. I’ve referred friends and family to her and everyone raves about her and her care.

Dr. Tuazon has been instrumental in managing my care and health since I switched over to her several years ago. Previously I felt as though my concerns were not being heard and were dismissed as “being a woman.” Dr. Tuazon listened and put a plan in place immediately to investigate further and proceed based on my comfort. She is easy to talk to and goes above and beyond for her patients. I refer all of my friends to her and all have been satisfied and glad they made the switch!

Dr. Tuazon has been nothing but amazing for me both as a GYN and an OB with my four children. She caught a syndrome that literally saved my life. She is kind, compassionate and honest and genuinely cares about each and every patient.

If you’re overweight she will tare u down and break u. This woman has no moral code. She must have skipped class the day they took their “do no harm” oath!

Dr. Tuazon has made me cry on several occasions. She is rude, unprofessional, and lacks sympathy when you are going through a loss. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND… EVER.

Right from my first visit which was 15 years ago with my first pregnancy, her exceptional care and attention made me feel truly taken care of. Her warmth and professionalism put me at ease, and she always took the time to listen to all my questions and concerns. Every recommendation and piece of advice she provided was grounded in a solid, up to date understanding of medicine. I never felt rushed during appointments, she always ensured that she explained each procedure and treatment option clearly and comprehensibly and always made me feel save and comfortable in every way. Her and her support team reflects her commitment to exceptional patient care. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, respectful and professional. From the appointment scheduling process to the follow-up afterwards, efficiency and kindness were present every step of the way. I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful service provide

After reading positive reviews, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Tuazon. Worst choice I’ve made. She was nothing but rude and made me feel forced to end my pregnancy when it wasn’t progressing normally. At my last appointment with her, I left the office in tears from the way she talked to me as I was going through a miscarriage. She stated, “It’s your own fault that you’re frustrated over this. I told you to end it last week but you refused. You’ve dragged this on longer than it needed to be.” I can’t even explain the way that she made me feel. I can’t think about what she said to me without becoming emotional. She is the worst OBGYN I have ever seen with NO compassion or empathy. I feel so incredibly disrespected by her. I will not be returning.

When my regular GYN doctor had retired I had a hard time finding a doctor that I would feel comfortable with. My daughter-in-law recommended Hazel Tuazan. The first time I met her I felt very comfortable and confident that she would be a thorough doctor for my needs. I am now coming to her for at least five years and will continue until she retires. I give her five stars ??

Dr. Tuazon is very respectful and courteous of your de isions with your health. She delivered both of my daughters via c section and kept me in the know of everything that was going on and even checked in almost every day of my delivery stay. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything in deatil to make sure you understand what is going on with yourself. Id recommend her second to none!

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Tuazon to anyone looking for a gynecological doctor. This was the first time I met with her and I was very impressed. She was very friendly, respectful, thorough, and knowledgeable. She put me at ease, answered all my questions. Next year, I will definitely schedule my yearly appointment with Dr. Tuazon.

From conception to delivery Dr Tuazon was always there and delivered my strong and healthy baby!

Would give her 0 stars. She was horrible during my first delivery. She was on her phone most of the time arguing with her family member then took her anger out on me, trying to force me to have a c section. She was annoyed with any question me and my family had. We tried explaining I wasn't feeling good and she didn't listen until I had a fever and my son's heart rate went down, he had the cord around neck needed a vacuum to take him out and she was terrified then changed her attitude after that

Dr. Tuazon has always been there to take th extra time to answer my questions and put my mind at ease. I would recommend her.

Very disappointed with the way this doctor acted during delivery of baby. She was very child like. I would not recommend her to anyone looking to have a good birthing experience. She walked our of the delivery room when she became frustrated and yelled at the patient. Very rude and immature.

Terrible bed side manner. Very rude and unprofessional! I would never recommend her services to anyone! The office staff is wonderful!
