UNPROFESSIONAL
My mother had a heart cath scheduled at McClaren. My wife and I took off the day to take my mother up there for the procedure. This doctor was the one performing the procedure and cancelled it with no notification whatsoever. I'm sorry, but our time is more valuable then yours for this kind of unprofessional nonsense! STAY AWAY!

Dr Ismail is amazing, I have referred many patients to him and always have excellent feedback. Excellent bedside manner. Explains everything and is extremely thorough, excellent follow through and communication. Always has the best interest of the patient. Patients are more compliant after visiting and following up with him because they have a better understanding of their conditions. Highly recommended!!

Please do not let your loved ones see this doctor
He has the poorest bedside manner and does not care about his patients, especially elderly patients. He questions their responses to their ability to do physical activities, and if you have questions or concerns about his approach, rather than working with patients, he discharges them. I have no idea how someone some inhumane could practice medicine.

He did Heart Catherization but ignored all hospital contact as I had issues that needed attention & never properly contacted them. I spent an extra day as I couldn't be released until he responded. Finally I told hospital staff I was leaving regardless. My daughter had to call his office staff manager to finally have them reach him. When I spoke to office the next day I was told this is an issue with him. If he cant take care of his patients when needed how can a patient feel secure with him.
