Dr. Hassan Borghei, DO

A lot of these foreign doctors come over here to the US and do not speak very much clear concise English. This Doc is very hard to understand. I would definitely not recommend this doctor, his staff is horrible and he does not work well with patients. His receptionist told me that if cancel an appointment that I would be banned from the practice.

I was referred to this practice by family doctor. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy but was not given a time until after 5 pm the day before. When called told my appointment would be 12:30 pm. When I ask why so late since I had started the prep at 1:00pm that day I was told the doctor doesn’t come in to do the tests until noon. Why did I have to start the prep 24 hours before the test. That’s means 27 or more hours without food. I have had three other colonoscopies and have NEVER had this happen

Dr. Borghei is a great doctor, who I rate a 5-star gastroenterologist. He's wonderful and I trust him. However, the courtesy and professionalism of the people who answer his phone system are not as good. I give them just one star, because when I called to reschedule an appointment, I was immediately placed on "hold" and left there for over five minutes, so I gave up. The person who left me on "hold" placed me there immediately after answering the phone and never said her name. I'm not happy.

Quietly and efficiently took me through my colonoscopy. A kind gentleman.
