Dr. Harvinder Kohli, MD

Can sleep 24 hours/day. Short term memory issues. Feel tired most of the time. Dr Kohli examination ruled out Alzheimer and Dementia and scheduled an MRI which showed a skull base tumor. Referred me to MUSC Neurosurgery. His quick action may have saved my life. We give him very high marks.

He is knowledgeable and caring

I had a short wait before I saw the Doctor and the treatment and information he gave me about my disease was helpful. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Dr. Kohli does not listen. He makes presumptions based on his training and does not listen to the specific experiences of his patients. Dr Kohli is quick to provide a diagnosis without taking into consideration the specific experiences of his patients. Dr Kohli recommended I seek the medical advice of a different medical professional once I pointed out his deficiency in providing proper care.

From the start, the Ofc mgr was condescending. We had a Senior Advocate who had brought test results from past cognition tests and requested particular cognition tests. Ofc mgr said "we know exactly why we are giving these tests." Did someone conspire with the Kohli's office? Don't know. With the doc, the advocate asked for certain tests and he refused. Kohli was laughing at some of the answers our Mother gave on his test. He wouldn't look at previous tests. If you want accuracy don't go here!!!

My elderly mother had an appt. with Dr. Kohli last week. She has dementia and we need to get her somewhere safe as she is not capable of taking care of herself anymore. He gave her a cognitive test even though the nurse advocate who came with her brought results of other tests. He was actually laughing at some of the answers she put down! He told my mother that she could stay home despite all of the other health professionals opinions. Very bad doctor!!!!!!

Dr Kohli is a excellent Dr. He diagnosed me in 2 visits for a rare Auto Immune Disease and started treatment to ease my Symptoms . He is very professional but, also Patient friendly as well . He explains everything and responds to questions with empathy and understanding . His Office Staff are excellent as well . Nurse Lee and the 2 Receptionists are top notch . Neurologists treat serious illnesss and disease and it’s comforting to have a Dr .that understands the Patient feelings .

What I am experiencing is very unusual and doesn't "fit" into a category. I didn't get a chance to explain exactly what my symptoms are as Dr. Kohli interrupted me. He was mind set on his choice of treatment. Due to being in terrible pain for 6 days I was emotional and would have appreciated him listening to me. I'll try this med for a week, if no improvement I believe I should seek attention at the MAYO clinic.

One of the very few D.r. Who respect your time. Very punctual, very thorough. His staff, specially his assistant is equally wonderful. One of the rare clinics that uses their (web) Portal effectively to serve patients.

There was a mixup in my scheduling which was done by a referring MD. Dr. Kohli's staff accommodated me which I greatly appreciate.

Met Dr Kohli for the first time in the hsp last Nov. He was very kind with his words in explaining to me what my diagnosis was, without scaring me. I have been his patient every since.

Front office very professional and efficient. Visit was ontime. Dr Kohli listens and shares accurate information. Very personable and provides an environment of trust.

Dr. Kohli was very thorough and explained the purpose of the medications that I take for my headaches.

SFrom the moment I arrived I felt that I was a customer and valued. The welcoming nurse receptionist could not have been nicer (rare in doctors offices!). Dr. Kohl I was prompt , friendly and interested . It seemed that he cared about my issues. I strongly recommend him.

Dr. Kohli is knowledgeable, very courteous, an excellent listener, asks good questions to ensure he is understanding what is going on with his patient. I (his wife) attend all my husband's visits - our approach is four ears and better than two - and, in some instances, our viewpoint differs - this in itself helps when the doctor is assessing that visit. Ever since my husband's stroke, we have benefited from Dr. Kohli's suggestions, advice, and counsel.

Dr. Kohli is a kind, gentle physician who listens well to you and won't stop trying to find a cause for your problems. I would recommend him highly.
