Wonderful Caring Pediatric Endocrinologist
Dr. Chiu is a wonderful doctor. Our daughter has been his patient for 7 years, since a brain tumor severely damaged her pituitary gland. He has always been patient and compassionate . Takes as much time as needed to answer our questions, even when panic asking him the same question over and over again. Impressively knowledgeable and makes sure we understand everything, the good and bad. He has fought as hard as we have to keep our daughter healthy and growing. Dr. Chiu and his fantastic staff have been persistent and uncomplaining throughout the years working for weeks and months at a time to get our daughters specialized medications approved. He always makes us feel as if our child is his priority. He has even reached out to us after appointments to share additional information and thoughts on treatment. Great doctor and great care team.

Medical gaslighter. Passive aggressive w/ a smile.

Terrible experience with this doctor. At the surface level, he seems caring (a false veneer) but really he is just your typical medical gaslighter. Doesn’t care about you as a patient and wants to make you feel like you are crazy for being concerned with your child’s health. Stay away. Would leave zero stars if I could.

Dr. Chiu is very compassionate, caring and patient. That is what is needed in a Peds specialist. I am glad our doctor referred us to see him for our son. He is thorough and even called me to share something else he noticed that he really didn't have to after we left the office.

Dr. Chiu was a very knowledgeable and caring pediatric specialist. He was very generous with his time and did a great job of not only listening to our concerns, but also explaining the complex world of thyroid disease in a way that both my child and I could understand.

My family was introduced to Dr. Chiu when my son turned 7 days old. That was over 2 & 1/2 years ago when we found out he was born without his thyroid. From the very first calls and visits Dr. Chiu and his staff made sure both my husband and myself were educated with regards to what this would mean for my son and our family. At each and every visit, Dr. Chiu makes sure we have all of our questions answered and has never made me feel rushed. My son has always taken a liking to Dr. Chiu as well.
