A good experience
Both Dr and his staff were professional and caring during my recent preventative screening procedure. The office was helpful and communicative with all questions being answered promptly. I would highly recommend him. My sincere thanks to him and all his staff at the Troy office.

Would not recommend
My husband went in for an initial exam. Dr Wasvary sent him to get testing at the hospital. We had to call 7 times and leave 7 messages over the course of two months to request that the doctor call us back to discuss the results to which an assistant finally called back with little to no information and just said to schedule a colonoscopy. To this day almost three months after exam still can’t get the doctor on the phone nor any additional information!! Awful!!

Awful Experience
Dr. Wasvary does not care at all about you as a patient. He caused my worst medical experience of my life. He will give you BS statistics and offer no after care support. Told me the ambulance took me to the wrong hospital for him to help me with the emergency room bills caused by his procedure. I now have permanent damage to my neck as a result of passing out 3 times due to blood loss after his procedure in which he reported "no blood loss". His office manager Ginger will also treat you like a liar accusing me of being in a car crash. Terrible experience. History of Present Illness The patient is a 46-year-old Caucasian male with no significant past medical history aside for some chronic neck pain who presented to Ascension Macomb emergency department this morning for rectal bleeding and 3 distinct syncopal events. The patient had had a colonoscopy at another hospital 1 day before and had multiple colonic polyps removed. The patient states that he went home, and overnight had

I was extremely fortunate to have had Dr. Wasvary as my surgeon for a rare appendix mass. He is not only very smart and confident, he is so kind and caring. He explains everything very well and has a very calm demeanor. His team is extraordinary, from Cyndi, his nurse navigator and John. He is very well respected by other physicians. I’m so grateful to Dr. Wasvary and his whole team! 10 stars!

Great bedside manner. A very good doctor and an excellent surgeon. I had stage 3 Colon Cancer. I was able to get booked very quickly for surgery. He operated on me, with excellent results. I recovered quickly, but the chemo took it tole on me. I am currently cancer free 6 years later.

Disappointed, went two times to this doctor, he does not spend time with patients, or discuss the case, and want you to become member to his office, does not provide the right treatment.

The most ridiculous situation, I was scheduled for an inaccurate procedure. I was asked to prep for something that was not in my chart. It is difficult enough to prep for these procedures as it is, but to be told that we are incorrectly scheduled. And be asked to come back a second time because of a careless error due to staff scheduling. The funny thing is that I called several times to ensure that I prep correctly and that I follow the instructions of the Doctor. I do NOT recommend.
