Do not go to him! Im a previous patient who quit because he did not listen at all and insisted he knew me better than I did. He insisted I was bipolar despite me allowing him to retry bipolar meds with no effect because I have ptsd, not bipolar disorder. I've had 4 counselors diagnose me with ptsd and say all my symptoms fit . All saw me during an attack. He wouldnt listen that the buspar didnt help my anxiety at all and insisted I stay on bipolar meds that weren't helping at all. I had another full eval after I had a severe breakdown due to nobody listening and was again diagnosed with ptsd, not bipolar disorder. He doesn't listen to his patients or think outside the box when normal treatments arent working. My counselor who is still helping me with this has pushed me to get doctors to listen because my ptsd is so severe due to long term child abuse that it has kept me from attending school as a kid and forced me tohad to withdraw fom my business class this term per medical advice.
