Professional
Chronic neuropathic pain for 3 years. Drs in pain management, surgery, and Neurology all said there was nothing else that could be done. Sleeping 3-4 hours a night. Contacted CEO of large Pain Management group in Virginia. He got me an appointment with Dr Cordner, who he said was the best anywhere close to Cape Canaveral. I now have an SCS implant and a new life. Professional and Caring!

Dr. Cordner is extremely and self absorbed.
The Receptionist was vocal annoyed I had no CD from my CT. When questioned as to why I would bring it, defiantly professed “The Patient “ALWAYS brings the CD”. “Then maybe the Patient should be informed to deliver the CD to the Doctor.” So, not off to a good start.Met with the Doctor and I explained to him immediately, I am a Visual person, not Audible. He continued to talk and told me not to worry, I was in good hands, he had thirty years of experience. His procedure was performed and after third try he supposedly got the right nerve. The next day I could not even walk on my leg and the pain was horrific. EMS to the hospital where I was informed this can quite often happens after spinal injections. The end result was a damaged leg and intense InHouse rehab, at a wonderful Rehab Center in Vero. The Doctor thought it was silly I was getting rehab. I could not walk or put any pressure on my leg, and as I said, the pain alone was horrific. This is a summary only.

Quality of life
With back issues causing severe pain, it was quickly taking away my quality of life. Experiencing that level of pain 24/7 starts to wear you down. Dr Cordner has, twice now, given me back my quality of life. Sometimes we take for granted the little things in life that truly bring us joy. All those were taken away until I went to Dr. Cordner. He's so easy to talk to, explains what's going on, explains your options & guides you as if it were his own body he was dealing with. He doesn't sugar coat things (which I love). He gives you the reality of a situation & what steps to take to give you freedom from the horrible pain. In some cases, like mine, these measures buy me time, until I'll have to have surgery, but the last time, it bought me over two wonderful years of being pain free. I can't begin to tell you how much that meant. I trust Dr. Cordner & would only have him treat me. Both Dr Cordner & staff make you feel their dedication, compassion, sincerity & true concern for you.

I called this office about 5 times to get updates on a referral for my husband. Every girl I spoke to gave me different updates that did not make sense. The first one said they were waiting on records. The second could not even find a chart, the third said that the chart was just open waiting to be called and she would send a message and the 4th were verifying INS and I MADE SURE TO ASK IF THEY WERE IN NETWORK (I MADE SURE OF THIS QUESTION BC WE WERE SUPPOSED TO SEE DR MALONE BUT HE TOLD US HE WAS OON) and they assured me they were. The 5th girl scheduled the appointment. Apparently they wait for the same day to tell you, you're out of network and make you pay a higher amount. HORRIBLE STAFF. All the billing dept kept saying was to contact my INS. Their online website even says they will advise you prior to your appt what you have to pay. NO ONE TOLD US. My husband lives in pain.

As a patient of Dr. Cordners for about 2 years I have always found him to be considerate, extremely patient, and kind. He has spent a lot of time explaining procedures and answering my many questions. Dr. Cordner is the first doctor to provided me with a long term pain management solution, reducing the need for narcotic meds. Dr. Cordners offices are very clean and comfortable, his staff are always friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend Dr. Cordner.

I found my first experience with Dr.Cordner to be very positive. He was very professional and caring. He exxplained his opinion of what course of treatment he would recommend. And I, concur. His staff were and are, a compliment to him. The are also very professional, friendly and caring. After being with Dr. Richardson for so many years, upon his retirement, I chose to go to Dr. Cordner based on my former employer's, and my Co-worker's recommendations. I am forever in their debt.

Excellent physician. Knows his scope of practice extremely well. Listens to your questions and takes the time to insure that you have total comprehension. Was able to review my cat scan and actually visualize an very important problem that other Physicians had missed. If it was not for his time and keen observation I could have very easily been crippled. I am former military and have had a long history of pain management in both sectors. I am fortunate and blessed to be a patient.

Dr. Cordner has a wonderful sense of humor and a great way of dealing with someone like me in chronic pain. Love his staff, everyone is so kind/wanted to say sweet. I have had some very short and some very long wait times, most because of patients running late in front of me.
