If I could leave a no star review I would.I was at a inpatient facility ( Beacon) and had him as my doctor. He took me off of all my medication and prescribed me the ones he probably gets pharmaceutical kick back's for.He is very narrow minded and his personality is condescending and rude.He never asked me how I was feeling he we was more concerned about my personal life and getting phone numbers of my family and friends. The nurse practitioner that works under him was very nice and understanding. He could learn alot from her but he is to busy bullying his patents.I truly hope that when I put out a formal complaint his license will be revoked.

My personal experience with H. Mallik, MD unfortunately was horrible. He was very condescending and his bedside manner was very poor. As far as his practice of medicine, I was over medicated and I spent more time with the Nurse Practitioner (who was very caring & professional) in the 9 days that I was inpatient versus him seeing me only 3 times. He is the MD who oversees the Nurse Practitioner and never once asked me about any side effects of prescribed medication. I would not refer anyone to his practice, in my personal opinion he does more harm than good in which he took an oath to do “good”.

Like many of us I’ve had circumstances in life which I felt the aid of a psychologist/psychiatrist may be proactive. Unfortunately I found Dr. Mallik’s beliefs and practices more harmful to ones mental health than helpful. His knowledge of new medical developments are extremely outdated and continues to practice retired techniques. I wish I had a positive review but in my opinion a review from the Med Licensing Board should possibly be in order.

Dr. Mallik took time to listen to me, and I appreciated that he considered a variety of treatment options, and involved me in the decision-making process. It was clear that he was knowledgeable, and his confidence was comforting.
