Dr. Harkirat Chahal, MD

Dr. Chalal shouldn’t be a physician. I waited months to see him. He questioned everything I told him about my history. I explained I had hereditary and idiopathic neuropathy since my late 20’s and he said 0Do you have diabetes? I said no, he said “Then why do you have neuropathy?” What kind of question is that? Then I explained I tore my Achilles, he asked how, then I told him I fractured my ankle he asked how? How isn’t why I was seeing him, I was seeing him for pain due to the neuropathy and CRPS from both injuries. I said I have a DRG and had a SCS that got infected and removed. I said I wanted it replaced. He said I can’t help you. He said he doesn’t work with radiation, well then why is he an interventional pain management MD. As I wax l leaving I asked him what do you do since I know all the things you don’t. He said this and that an SCS. I said that’s why I’m here. He said I thought you need a DRG, I don’t do those. He then said I won’t to a SCS on me piece of work

Dr Chahal reviewed every surgery and diagnosis I have had. He asked why, why, why and I explained every single thing. He clearly had his mind made up before he met me. He told me there was nothing he could do and that I was "on a lifelong path" with narcotics even though I told him I don't want to take them and repeatedly asked for other ways to treat my pain. He was cold and completely unhelpful and then put in my visit notes that he "warned me" about narcotic use even though I was the one telling him I wanted other solutions.

Dr Chahal is excellent! He really listens and provides honest feedback. His skills are remarkable!

Dr. Chahal is incredible. He listens and takes great care of me, he is lovely to speak with at every appointment and goes above and beyond to get things right. I have been living with neck pain for years now managing it with Aleve and Motrin, glad I finally went in, his treatment made a huge difference. He was really thorough with explaining my condition and laying out my treatment options. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines cutting edge care and such a personal touch.
