Dr. Hari Sawkar, MD

I was recently referred to Dr. Sawkar for a prostate issue. My experience has been pleasant, the staff has been friendly and my appointments were on time. Dr. Sawkar has clearly explained my prostate issues and has presented me with a plan to relieve my problems.

Dr. Sawkar is a highly intelligent physician, compassionate, and easy to relate too. He clearly explained the procedure, answered all questions and addressed concerns. The excellent results of the aquablation therapy speak to his skills as a surgeon. The first week following the procedure was challenging. Using men’s depends was very helpful. I am extremely happy with the outcome. I am able to discharge easily and quickly, sleep through the night and wake up well rested and energetic. Thank You, Dr. Sawkar! Dennis

Saw Dr. Sawkar a year ago. Just returned for annual check up. Office left a reminder on Friday regarding my Monday appt. When I arrived I was told my insurance was in negotiations with the office, but the new contract was not in place so I had to be a cash patient or they would not see me. I refused to pay. The Dr. came in and would not answer my health questions unless I became a cash patient. I asked how long they knew my insurance was not in effect, and he said, "About two weeks." When I asked why I was not informed prior to my visit, he could only apologize, but would still not answer my health questions unless I paid. Terrible patient relations, dysfunctional office, and clearly money is more important than patients' needs.

He helped me with a prostate problem and is an excellent doctor.

After dealing with a reoccurring infection for 7 months I received a referral to Dr. Sawkar. His office staff was polite and booked my appointment promptly actually offering me the next day. Dr. Dakar was proactive in my treatment taking the time to pull up my ER records from the day before for an unrelated event. He listened to what I had to say, he answered my questions and we laid out a plan to move forward. Extremely impressed, which is hard to do, I work in the medical field.
